I know that we are going to give this guy more traffic than he ever imagined, but we just wanted to call your attention this entry from The ACC & SEC Blog because for some reason it really stuck me the wrong way. The goal of the entry was supposed to “rank the toughest stadiums […]
Carter-Finley
Wednesday Morning Bytes
You aren’t looking below the features! But, we expected it. Yesterday we linked a couple of entries below the three top features – Russell Wilson and Polling – that didn’t seem to attract many views. I’m guilty, too. I missed it. It will just be something to get accustomed to. We told you in last […]
ESPN Mag: Carter-Finley’s student section among five most spirited
I know this article is old. But, this is why I save old links so as to not forget them! You can click here to ESPN The Magazine’s ranking of student sections in college football stadiums across the country. The only two ACC programs that gain a mention in the rankings are NC State and […]
U2 Playing at Raleigh “Stadium” on Saturday Oct. 3rd (Maybe Not)

Aesthetic improvements continue at Carter-Finley. As the picture below indicates (taken from this source), there is a new addition to the wolves’ den tunnel leading from the Murphy Center to Wayne Day Field. I like it. I’m all for improvements like this that add some pizzaz to the place. I think I would like it […]
Stadium Argument Follow-up
An awful lot of attention was applied to an ESPN blog post about “toughest” football stadiums in the ACC throughout the conference’s footprint this week. SFN led the charge with a pretty comprehensive initial entry that can be seen by clicking here and then was followed-up by a great piece from LRM that received a […]
Will you PLEASE get this message out?!
If you want some ECU, then hopefully you didn’t miss our pre-game/in-game entry or our first postgame entry. We’ll have a little more State-ECU talk during the week since we were busy with work last week and didn’t have a lot leading up to the game. Today’s entry is focused on something much more broad […]
