24/7 Sports doesn’t have a dedicated NC State site but they are paying attention to the Wolfpack. Writer Steve Wiltfong dropped a little article this morning about the potential and direction of Dave Doeren’s NC State program.

Don’t be surprised if you look up soon and N.C. State is a playoff contender.
The Wolfpack are loading up at key positions in the last two recruiting classes.
No. 1 is the quarterback position.
Jacoby Brissett will be back for his final prep season, leading the Wolfpack to five more wins this past fall than they had the season before, capping things off with a bowl victory. On deck behind the former U.S. Army All-American is red-shirt freshman to be in the jewel of the 2014 recruiting class, Jalan McClendon. Sources close to the program tell 247Sports that McClendon was the best player this year in the talented N.C. State freshman class and he didn’t even see the field.
If you have your trigger man, your team is probably going to be pretty good.
He goes on to talk about the additions of this years RB class and calls them the top group in the country.
N.C. State is signing what is arguably the top running back class in the country in 2015. The nation’s No. 2 running back according to 247Sports in Johnny Frasier did what most ultimately expected him to Saturday when the U.S. Army All-American flipped his commitment from Florida State to the Wolfpack. Then you have the country’s No. 2 all-purpose back according to the 247Sports Composite already in the fold in Nyheim Hines. In-state standout Reggie Gallaspy completes the trio of backs Dave Doeren and his staff will sign in 2015. A nice stable of backs coming in behind fifth-year senior Shadrach Thornton.
He talks about Kentavious Street, BJ Hill and Darian Roseboro on defense along with Tony Adams & Emmanuel McGirt on the offensive line. This is great exposure for the program from a national sports writer. You can read the full article here
