On a bathroom wall at The Caterie – a great little bar in Baton Rouge, Louisiana – these oddly poetic words were once written: “all I want out of life is a fourteen year old woman who knows how to roll a joint.”
“In a Q & A with the Richmond Times-Dispatch earlier in his college career, Marcus (Vick) was asked what he’d ask for if offered anything.
He responded that he had everything he wanted.
Then last summer, football was taken away. Just like that, there was a void in Vick’s life.”
…so goes the ESPN story
Until now, I didn’t realize it was Vick who wrote those words at The Caterie. Apparently last summer he really did have it all — marijuana AND fourteen year old girls.
I hope people don’t read the ESPN article and feel sorry for Vick. The kid has talent that anyone who’s ever touched a football just dreams about, and his family is already rich courtesy of his brother. Marcus already tools around Blacksburg in a BMW.
Football wasn’t taken away from Marcus. Marcus did it all on his own. Hopefully he realizes that even if ESPN doesn’t.
