If I could re-pick, seeing what we’ve seen so far, I’d go all in on Nova. Easy road to the Final Four.
I’ve seen a zillion folks pick Michigan State to win it all. They looked terrible against Bucknell.
KU struggled with Penn for a while. Gonzaga struggles with UNCG. Texas Tech struggles with SFA. Auburn struggled with Charleston. Arizona loses. Miami loses. Wichita loses.
Point being – if you don’t bring it, you are going home. And you might even go home if you do. So much parity right now in college basketball.
There is absolutely no denying that UVa was the best team in college basketball this season. So what it says, literally, is that anybody can beat anybody on a given night. Nobody disputes UVa wasn’t the overall number 1. What they did was incredible.
Tony did handle the loss with class, and I’d expect nothing less from him. He is a very principled man. The better team won, last night.
I’m just saying the way the matchups are lining up those three won’t be carrying the ACC banner for long.
FSU and Cuse will be ousted in the second round. Kansas will take care of Clemson (if they get by Aubie). That leaves you know who.
And let me just say – as good as Bennett has been at UVa (and he has been ridiculously good),something is really wrong for him come the NCAA Tourney. It may be that with as hard as they play, they are just gassed. I don’t know.
Yep, now my bracket is busted.
