WulfpackParticipant
Good thing I chose the C-Hawks over watching this garbage. What a joke.
WulfpackParticipantI have long believed that Vitale is simply a promoter. Give the guy a microphone and he will promote promote promote. Some of it good, a lot of it not so good. Like today. He is completely blinded. At the same time, he is incredibly charitable and has kept the Jimmy V torch running. He is so darn polarizing. He is also an awful announcer. I just wish he would step back from his relationships with these coaches and try to think critically about what is going on. He can’t do it.
WulfpackParticipantHow about Lame Kiffin interviewing at Bama for OC? Surprising.
WulfpackParticipantRoy is losing it.
WulfpackParticipantScott Wood.
Obviously, Archie has already made a name for himself. Won’t be long before he has a major gig.
WulfpackParticipantCat is going to make mistakes. He is also a difference maker. You have to take some bad with all the good, and hope he continues to learn and improve as the year goes on.
WulfpackParticipantCan’t call Jurich indecisive. Obviously a good coach. But you couldn’t have hired someone more different than Strong. They will be good, especially on offense.

This moron is more concerned about his own feelings than the university who claims he adores. His issue is with the administration, not Strong. Perhaps he should have said just that, or better yet how about handling that in house instead of making your donors and fan base look like fools. And he does look like a complete fool. He is getting ripped and deservedly so. Strong did nothing but kick tail and he does not deserve this, whatever the motivations.

He has mopped the floor compared to his boy Mack Brown the past few years. A coordinator? Seriously? That is why some are finding these comments that way. Strong is a head coach. He has been a head coach, and a darn successful one at that. Maybe it is not his guy, but he is a head coach.
If he feels he wasn’t included, then he should learn how to say that clearly.
I am not the only person that finds these comments very curious. Whatever the case, this guy comes off as an idiot and is why so many say boosters at Texas have far too much influence.

I think Strong was a premier name. His name has been linked to several “big” jobs. Of course, we are all entitled to our opinion in that regard.

WulfpackParticipantReally solid win that could go a long way. Was impressed with both PGs. Cat is a player.
WulfpackParticipantI don’t know how much cred the ACC will get, but FSU is getting a bunch. And that was even the case before last night’s win. Clemson earned a lot beating the likes of LSU, UGA and Ohio State. And even though Duke lost, they earned a ton of respect nationally with how they played against TAMU. I agree it doesn’t quite add up to conference success as a whole but it is a very big step in the right direction. We did not uphold our end of the bargain, that much is for sure.
WulfpackParticipantGreat post, Whiteshoes. I see it similarly. Lost confidence is a difficult thing to regain when opportunities are limited. Cat is simply better.
WulfpackParticipantI do think there is some truth to it. Texas is a unique job. Brown was quite the politician and the local and national media adored him. This kept him in his job the past few years after things quickly headed south. Strong is a very solid coach but will have to adjust to this environment.
WulfpackParticipantI noticed ND was fairly big up front and beat Duke pretty good inside. Vandy has to stay on the floor. Not confident in this one tonight.
WulfpackParticipantWell, we finally got one. FSU did us all a favor and stopped the mighty SEC train. In fact, it wasn’t so mighty this year. Still very good but as FSU and Oklahoma exhibited, not unbeatable. Hats off to Jimbo. He did it.
WulfpackParticipantSeattle is so tough at home. That place will be off the hook for the NFC Championship. I don’t see NO winning in Seattle. Panthers can surely give them a good game there. I am worried sick about San Fran coming to town. They are very good and on a run.
WulfpackParticipantHe ain’t the same, that is for sure.
WulfpackParticipantPulled for the Chargers. Hope Green Bay beats San Fran but it will be tough. Feel the Panthers can handle the Packers. 49ers are very physical.
WulfpackParticipantI have come to dislike a lot about Rivers. Can’t come up with a negative thing to say about Wilson.
I feel that Denver and New England are on a collision course in the AFC.
WulfpackParticipantGott is a very solid recruiter. His coaching I would rate as somewhere between average to above average. Coaching includes motivating. I think there is room to grow there.
WulfpackParticipantNo question. Much better off. Not even close. But are we going to compete with the big boys? I am not so sure.
WulfpackParticipantHow about the Chiefs! Laying the smack down.
WulfpackParticipantChiefs with a hail of an opening drive.
