Roy Williams said “it is not my world” to determine whether his players can read or not. Sad state of affairs, folks.

WulfpackParticipantIt is all good with me. And it wasn’t like there was a choice, either. More a matter of survival.
WulfpackParticipantJoe Giglio: “N.C. State gave up 48 points in the second half of a Jan. 4 home loss to Pittsburgh and 48 in the first half of Saturday’s home loss to Virginia. Plain and simple, you can’t give up that many points in a half of college basketball, let alone to teams like Pitt and Virginia, who are not exactly the most advanced offensively.”
Yep, plain and simple, if Gott does not find a way to improve the Pack’s defense, we’re not going anywhere. Not this year and not in future years.
WulfpackParticipantI’m going New England and San Fran, though I am pulling for a Denver/Seattle Super Bowl. Brady is Brady and NE now has a killer run game, and nobody is playing better ball than the 9ers, who are battle tested.
WulfpackParticipantNext Sunday is MUST see tv starting at 3 with the Pats and Broncs, followed by Seahawks and 49ers. The NFL could not have scripted it any better with these match-ups and storylines. Ratings will be off the charts. Predictions?
WulfpackParticipantChargers looking quite vanilla. You can’t spot Peyton two scores on the road and expect to win. This one is over.
WulfpackParticipantThis is not the same 9er team. Seattle is in a world of trouble next week.
WulfpackParticipantThis is a 49er team that can easily win it all. I don’t see a weakness. Seattle will be a tough out but San Fran to me is a better team overall.
WulfpackParticipantThis one is over I am afraid.
WulfpackParticipantI like where the Panthers are. Got to get points, though. There is going to be a turnover that decides this game as both teams are so equal.
WulfpackParticipantAgree VaWolf. On both counts.
I am a huge Peyton fan, but if the Broncs get by the Chargers today my best guess is Brady and the Pats gets Peyton again next week. Hope he can prove me wrong.
WulfpackParticipantHeck of a game thus far. Love the physicality on both sides. And Cam showing he is tougher than nails.
WulfpackParticipantPanthers are taking it to the 9ers. This, folks, is the most physical team in the league.
WulfpackParticipantLosses like these don’t look good IF we are fortunate enough to be in the bubble conversation come March. Yea, UVA is good and will likely go on to have a solid year, but not that good. That was more about us being inept. You just can’t lose like that in a big game at home. It does not bode well for us.
WulfpackParticipantNotre Dame lost at Georgia Tech today, so it is probably time to temper our win in South Bend a little. Truth is, outside of Cuse, Pitt and likely UVA, the ACC is a hot jumbled mess. I would expect Duke to get it together but after that it is a jumbled mess. This is both good and bad. Good in the sense that if we can find some consistency we can quickly climb the standings. Bad in that really good opportunities for solid wins are growing scarce. No longer would a win over an unranked UNC turn any heads, except ours of course. Really disappointing conference thus far.
WulfpackParticipantI’m also still on the “nothing will happen to them” side, but very happy this has finally gone national. I do agree it will eventually spark a broader debate.
WulfpackParticipantOf course, Troll. There is no comparison. But the benchmark for success should not be the worst coach in ACC history. I can assure you Yow does not view it that way.
WulfpackParticipantC-Hawks lookin good. Hope Panthers win somehow tomorrow and can give them a good game next week in Seattle. But it is looking like it could be an all NFC West final. Remember when that division was trash? Not any more.
Hope Luck can get it done tonight but not very confident.
WulfpackParticipantEven the most talented offensive teams can go cold, especially on the road. If you know how to D up, that can carry you. It can not only keep you in the game when you can’t throw it into the ocean, it can get you easy transition points. It can get you to the foul line. It can shorten the game. That is what the UVAs and Wisconsins do. They don’t get the best players, but they are heady and they work their tails off. I would much rather watch that kind of team than what I saw today. I don’t know what that was today to be honest. It sure wasn’t pleasant.
WulfpackParticipantIf he goes off, it needs to be on himself and his staff. Because they ain’t doing the job. Tired of coach speak.
WulfpackParticipantYes he can, Cowdog. He is a fantastic coach.
WulfpackParticipantAll I want is a team that puts max effort out there every night and plays great defense. Sadly we don’t have that with Gott. It is not so much about style of play as it is maximizing potential. Oh we have loads of potential, year after year.
WulfpackParticipantMy take is that Bennett Ball has taken Warren completely out of the game with outstanding defense. And that is the game. That is what I see.
WulfpackParticipantBennett Ball may be boring but it is whipping our tail. And if Bennett Ball is boring I don’t know the adjective to describe our brand of ball.
