    Congrats to TJ. Much deserved.

Yes. But there is no reason teams like Wake and GT should suck that bad. They both have some good basketball history. Our history as a football conference is not so colorful.

It also depends on what our other bubble-mates do this week. However, we have ample opportunity that many don’t. If we get to the finals it will be very close. But nothing short of that will qualify. Too much ground to make up.

Bennett and Gott are your only candidates. Some may argue Bennett has already reached stardom.

Wellman hitched himself to Bzz. He does not want to admit it was an awful hire. It was. I have no idea about the Wake politics, but if I’m Wellman I fire him the second the horn sounds following Wake’s loss in Greensboro. They can and should be much better. Odom had ’em there. Then Prosser. As did Gaudio. It is not a bad job.

Gone is the ACC identity of “anyone can beat anyone”

Really? Just because it didn’t happen for the Pack (at least not yet) doesn’t mean it didn’t happen for others. It did. See:

    Wake over Duke
    ND over Duke
    Clemson over Duke
    BC over Cuse
    GT over Cuse
    Maryland over UVA
    Wake over UNC
    Miami over UNC

Agree on Brownell. Pretty good year this year should buy him another.

BC and GT have each been disappointing. Probably each will get at least one more try.

Johnson and Bzz were awful hires. Bzz gets canned in four days. Johnson likely gets another year.

The league needs some of these teams to step up. It’s bad.

Glad you asked. Let the madness commence.

I’m going Okie State, VCU, Oregon, Creighton, SMU and Cincy. All capable of going a very long way IMHO.

And The Dance Card has 15 teams ahead of us, including FSU. Going to have to make a big run and hope all the favorites win.

Just FYI, Lunardi currently has Pitt in as a 10 seed.

The odds are clearly extremely slim. But with Warren, anything is possible. We’ve shown we can play with anyone in the league (sans UVA – but I am sure we can play with the Hoos). However, we can also lose to anyone. We are not consistent. Going to be interesting, hopefully.

Yes for me as well. He may go off for 50 in one of these tourney games.

No way buckets gets robbed of POY. Most local folks said they would vote for him over Paige or Parker. He had a banner year.

We’re going to have to win it all. Probably about 20 teams ahead of us right now on the Bubble.

He’ll get plenty of votes with the Heels slant in the media. Not very consistent, but he changed their season around. Gotta go Warren then Parker.

Jefferson is much more of a defensive guy and rebounder. It could have worked.

Agreed. No respect as a program nationally. That’ll do it.

Well, Parker putting on a show, on both ends. Warren is still my guy but this is an impressive showing.

That is as close as you will ever see it. But it was called good, so you gotta go with that. Pitt now up 7 in OT.

    College basketball sucks right now.

    Your opinion.

Looks pretty darn good from my vantage point. A lot of parity. Probably 20+ teams with a shot to win it all. March Madness on the horizon. People are still showing up and tuning in, so…
