And I’m not convinced UVA gets by Pitt tomorrow. Pitt is playing lights out. Very physical. We’ve already shown we can beat Pitt, and that was at the zoo.
UVA is very good, but beatable. It would be a completely different game than the first one. They are good, very good, don’t get me wrong. But they are not unbeatable. And we’ve easily got the best player on the floor.
I think Duke would be a very tough out. Clemson not so much. And I know we could beat Pitt or UVA. Go Tiggers.
I’m torn in this game. I know Duke is the better resume win, but we can surely beat Clemson, which puts us in the finals against UVA or Pitt, both very beatable.
The SEC is a putrid basketball conference. That league is Kentucky and Florida, and no one else. Every now and then you get a Tennessee or a Vandy with a decent team, but for the most part that is a two team conference. The A10, for example, is on pace for 6 bids.
Great game by the Pack. Turner and Cat save us again. Warren his usual great. We tried to give it away but some calls actually went our way. Luck-ie on our side.
Bennett, UVA don’t get the respect they deserve. This is an EXCELLENT team that can go a long way. Final Four material.
No more barren than Greensboro has been for these games. Plenty of plain ole basketball fans up there that will go with no allegiance.
Losing Maryland hurts, but adding Louisville is more than a good enough replacement. Quite a program in a basketball rich state. They are always going to be good. Maryland? Not so much IMHO. Plus, they are a bunch of arses.
I get that. Was just making the point that obviously Clemson is an easier out for us than Duke. If we are going to win it all, Clemson provides the much easier road. But I am pulling for Duke today as this helps us more in the signature win category.

Something tells me we are going to win this one. Cuse has limped to the finish line, and Warren is unstoppable. If Turner is hitting like he was last night, watch out.
I would not feel good, however, about a match up with Duke.

That’s true. Darnit. Also helps Dawkins keep his job if the Cardinal get in. I don’t have anything against the guy but he has been average at best there.
Everyone is saying we must beat Cuse, then Duke (NOT Clemson) to have a bubble case. Of course, Clemson helps us get to the finals a little easier.
I’d actually love to see it at MSG, the mecca of bball. Brooklyn would be ok. I’ve been up there and it is a pretty cool place. Brooklyn is a lot of fun. Little bit less of a hassle than Manhattan.
It hasn’t happened for him the past few years. What makes you guys think there’s a better job out there for him? I also think he’d prefer to stay fairly local.
Must be a product of the unbalanced scheduling and a very weak resume. They are not even close to being on the bubble. And I think you have to look at FSU, State and perhaps Maryland first before Clemson. Usually only 2-3 ACC teams qualify for the NIT as they try to spread it around.
Pac 12 is likely to get 6 bids. It has been pretty good this year. ASU is tanking, but everyone seems to have them firmly in.
