WulfpackParticipant
I don’t know what is going on with this site, but I’ve pretty much considered it all but dead. The last post on the main page was made nearly three months ago. When I hear of big NCSU related news, I come here to check the reaction. And lately, there isn’t even a discussion started. If I need to go elsewhere, just let me know where to go.
WulfpackParticipantWell it wouldn’t be a NC State offseason without a few transfers.
WulfpackParticipantYup.
WulfpackParticipantHope for Yurt’s sake Ewing can manage to win more than 5 games in the Big East.
WulfpackParticipantMakes zero sense.
WulfpackParticipantYurt just signed with Georgetown.
WulfpackParticipantThis is not old news. Feds charged Gatto YESTERDAY with additional criminal counts, alleging FOR THE FIRST TIME he provided cash to families for players for Kansas and NCSU.
WulfpackParticipantThe unidentified player committed to NC State in September 2015, but wasn’t happy with his decision and was considering decommitting about a month later, according to the indictment. Gatto and the unidentified Adidas consultant agreed to make a $40,000 payment to an unnamed NC State coach, who would then deliver it to the player’s parent, the indictment alleges. The payments were concealed from NC State officials and the NCAA, according to prosecutors.
The indictment says the player enrolled at NC State for the 2016-17 season and entered the NBA draft in June 2017.
NC State also released a statement on Tuesday, addressing that one of the latest indictments included the school and that the school had previously contacted former coaches in September 2017 about issues.
It concluded, “NC State will continue to fully cooperate with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and keep the NCAA updated throughout this investigation.”
WulfpackParticipantI’m just giddy we are referred to as a “premier” college basketball program. Solid.
WulfpackParticipantI am in the minority who thinks that Taggert is actually an upgrade for FSU over Jimbo
I think he was a solid hire as well and definitely an upgrade over Jimbo.
WulfpackParticipantYep, must be.
WulfpackParticipantBest team against the team playing the best. Doesn’t get much better than that.
WulfpackParticipantMichigan is going to be tough to beat.
WulfpackParticipantSeven years, $4 million per. That’s why.
WulfpackParticipantHis wife is from Louisville. I’m sure the money is far better than Xavier. Louisville is in the dumps. And he reached the pinnacle of what he could do at Xavier. Great season. Number 1 seed. And out early in the tourney.
WulfpackParticipantLouisville hires Mack.
WulfpackParticipantSmith’s best days are behind him. You want energy and enthusiasm – he doesn’t offer that. He’s loaded, too. Even less reason to work hard. That’s a bad hire, too. Not that I care. It’s High Point.
WulfpackParticipantPitt to hire Duke assistant Jeff Capel. Another atrocious hire.
WulfpackParticipantThis will be Smith’s seventh head-coaching job in the college ranks. He previously coached at Tulsa, Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, Texas Tech and Memphis.
WulfpackParticipantTubby nearing a deal to coach his alma mater, High Point.
WulfpackParticipantTough loss for the Devils. Should have won it in regulation. Will be a tremendous Final Four.
WulfpackParticipantOne Cinderella and three heavyweights.
WulfpackParticipantRamblers are fo real
WulfpackParticipantFavorites holding serve thus far tonight. We’ll see if Cuse has anything for Duke.
And Purdue/Texas Tech ought to be a dandy.
WulfpackParticipantGreat season, ladies.
