Basically, if State played with focus and good decision making their talent would take over. State is allowing Louisville to stay close.
He’s not blind. State’s the better team except in the execution department.
Louisville had everything go their way that half:
Gameplan, offensive execution, pace, control and aggression. We’re up by 2.
Imagine if we flip the script in the 2nd half (would help to get Barber going).
I think our energy/focus was always there. Maturity is not always there, nor is belief. Our shoulders sagged a little. MG brought them back into it, and we regained our mojo. Would anyone have believed, at the 8 minute mark, that we would go into the half in the lead without Louisville fucking up in a major way?
They are still shooting 60%. AND LOSING.
How does PITINO convince THEM they have a path to victory?
Agree with this analysis.

We have mostly played right into their game plan and are down 1. That’s a positive. They’re still getting way too many close/easy looks on offense.
Shooting poorly and down just three. Need to wake up though.
