Interesting – I think Murray would have drawn a 13 or 14-seed, I think Belmont will wind up on the 15-line however … Not exactly the type of team I would want to see as a 2-seed.
They certainly should have beaten Duke in the first round as a 15-seed a few seasons back.

Belmont-Murray St. has been back-and-forth for most of the 2nd half … OVC championship and first auto-qualifier bid.
So glad we’re not playing Clemson again. I know we’d stand a very good chance to beat them, but winning 4-in-4 is a lot more difficult after playing a sledge-hammer team like Clemson in round 1.
Hopefully we can put Pitt out of their misery and send them quietly to the NIT.

^Well, we all still have chapped ass over what happened in year 1 under Gott. That one should already be off the list. The shit that happened under Les and Herb regarding the refs (disregarding Sid – he just lost no matter what) just kept right on going w/r/t Gottfried until Herr Hess finally put their collective BS over the top and social media exposed all their bias BS. Much fewer truly antagonizing calls and games this season. When NC State gets a truly fair called game at Cheater Hill then things have changed a bit on the ref front (and we won – imagine that).

Yes, Vitale, tell us more about how the person responsible for the program (Boeheim) should not be held accountable for what goes on within the program. Meanwhile there’s a great effort by a Louisville team that can hardly score to beat Virgnia, but let’s keep extolling the virtues of Boeheim and not talk about the game at hand.

Texas A&M lost at home today to a ‘meh’ Alabama team … I find it ridiculous they were/are considered so strongly. They took Kentucky to overtime when Calamari wanted UK to be challenged/lose … SO WHAT?? Exactly how far does an OT loss to UK go? Must be a lot better than wins over other teams.

End of IU – Michigan St. was wild … Spartans were up 2, on the line for 1 more w/ 4.5 seconds left – miss the FT. IU rebounds and scrambles, but Michigan St. player gets confused and fouls IU player at halfcourt, thinking Spartans were up 3 hahaha.
Of course, IU player hits first FT, misses 2nd to tie game … Michigan St. wins.
Indiana is *probably* ok, but they are by no means safe. They have really faltered down the stretch, and may not be able to afford an opening game loss in the B1G tournament. It’s kind of like what happened to Iowa last season – they went from a possible 5-6 seed to having to play in Dayton last season after losing 5 of 6 down the stretch and then losing their opening B1G tournament game.
