Lacey’s call was an indication that the Swoff mandate was heard 😉

Time to shake it up and either go press or get a Martin in to get at the free throw line against the zone. We look lost early

Wow … gotta imagine if Lacey’s jersey said ‘Duke’ that would’ve been called a charge

Didn’t get to see any of the 2:00 game. Did UNX win it, or was it given to them.

I fell asleep to be honest 🙂 … I can tell you that down the stretch Louisville’s complete inability to score was really evident. Cheats even played some zone. Zone from the Cheats and Duke – in the same season!

I’m guessing State will see some zone tonight … C’mon Ralston don’t let us down buddy!

    Darn it, ‘Ville.

Re: Bubble – So far today Illinois has lost to Michigan, Old Dominion lost to MTSU, and Texas A&M is about to go down to Auburn. Bubble teams not doing themselves any favors. Wonder if State’s still in trouble according to media trolls? 🙂

Cheats crying about the calls, Walmarters giving a bronx cheer when they get a call.

They must be getting cheated! -_-

So far today we’ve had Virgina crying about the refs and now the Cheats. Bizarro world indeed.

Yes, need Louisville to win either way. I doubt Rathan Mayes could carry FSU to a win over Cheats.

Who in the media is saying this stuff? That’s ludicrous. Absolutely ludicrous. Hell, we were in after Cuse, last night just solidified it.

    I was exaggerating a bit … but only a bit 🙂

Illinois down 17 at the half to Michigan. Illini probably ok if they lose this game. If NC State wins ACC tournament, could still be left out. – Media

If Florida State rallies against Virginia they could get a look! NC State really needs to win the tournament. – Media

Murray State should be on the 7-line for the NCAA tournament. NC State doesn’t belong. – Media

    F**king troll halfwits … everywhere!

I have to admit, I get real joy out of seeing Bennett & co. whine and lose their minds over every single foul call.

That’s all you jokers do, and you cry about it when you get called on it? Ha.

I don’t know how to upload photos but check out Nebraska’s uni’s last night.

For whatever reason, I don’t think the ‘img’ tag is working when you’re posting from the ‘front page’ article. If you go to the forums though and then click on the article link you should be able to use the ‘img’ tags.

When posting, copy the url of the image you’d like to upload (you should be able to right click on the image and select ‘copy image url’)

Select the ‘img’ tag from your comment box toolbar and you’ll be prompted to enter the url of your image

Paste the url in and hit ok a couple of times and you should be golden. Feel free to try it out if you want. I don’t think anyone will care if it messes up some and I can always delete extraneous posts if necessary.

I re-watched the Duke game the other night. Both teams are unquestionably different now. We match up really well with Duke, and missing a player like Suliamon can have a big impact when Duke faces a team like State.

This one could be a lot of fun!

… am I the only one who thinks the four corners was not a revolutionary coaching idea? It was the most boring and chicken crap (word police) way to play BB I ever saw.

It’s interesting, three Tobacco Road ACC coaches each had a profound impact on the rules of college basketball in their own way (not to mention the ACC was the first to implement the three-point line). Each of the respective coaches took advantage of the rules of the game in order to win games, and the rules of the game were changed in each situation.

V’s actions actually used in-game strategy – fouling late even in tied games in order to control how the game ended. Smart, strategic decision making that ensured that he dictated how the game would end. After the copy cats started in, it heralded the coming of the double bonus.

K’s and Smith’s respective actions were more about taking advantage of the game as it was. Less in-game strategy and more using the rules to their advantage. Smith would have killed modern day college basketball – can you imagine Espn taking off showing Dean Smith coached 12-10 final games? Shot clock – thank God.

And K? Not physical basketball. Cheap basketball. The hand check. The arm bar. The flop. Holding the opponent away from the ball to ensure no freedom of movement. Every action designed to stop offensive basketball moves and put the onus on the referees to make every single call. It has changed college basketball forever. There have been tons of rules changes because of the way defenses have played over the last 30 years. K is at the center of that. The ‘no charge’ semi-circle is basically in place because of Duke flops. It’s sickening to me.

Gary Parrish says NC State is still on the bubble and could be left out if looks bad in a loss to Duke.

This has to be trolling of the highest order. Another of their writers yesterday was talking about how State was ‘iffy’ if they lost to Pitt. Has to be paranoia clickbait.
