WTF? UVA lost. Was it legit or ref related?
Legit. Couple of iffy calls late – the turnover play I referenced and they missed a Meeks lane violation – but UVa played catch-up the whole game.
Re: ND game – not doubling Okafor and then driving right at him on defense has been effective. Colson for ND has been impressive.
Looks like one team came in a little full of themselves after last night … State might beat Duke for the third time this season tonight.
Anderson shooting at all did hurt Virginia. That’s tough.
I would have liked to have seen that Brogdon / Johnson play called as a jumpball. I thought it was either a jumpball or a foul … instead, turnover on Virginia. Virginia had possession on a jumpball. Pretty big no call in a one point game.
Thank goodness. Glad he is ok and glad he’s able to play.

Well, I talked all kinds of shit about media predicting a Duke/Cheats final and here is this start the Cheats/UVa game. GD it.
Auburn beat LSU in overtime. SEC Bubble teams do not want to play in NCAA tourney it seems.
Auburn didn’t lead until overtime and LSU blew a lead late, plus they were 25-44 on FT’s. 25-44! Auburn had won 4 SEC games all season, and have now won 3 in a row at the SEC tournament.

My point of all this – a top 4 seed requires excellent PG from day one of OCC play. None of this —-, where we need to work the kinks out through the first 14 games with regards to PG play. I don’t want to read the same tired articles about shooting 3s, working out, getting stronger, trying to figure roles out. The core of this team will be juniors and seniors. No more excuses.

^Yeah, I was shocked. Much less shocked when Duke beat ND by 30 like the overrated team they are in the return game.
Notre Dame has screamed “1st weekend exit” all season to me.
Ohio more likely, think Okie fell to a 10/11 last night.
I’m not saying State will definitely win or even draw a favorable match-up, but what I’m most positive about today is that State will almost certainly draw a team that has almost no business being seeded ahead of them.
Obviously that positive feeling is largely dependent upon Cat’s status.
I don’t think it’s fair to be too hard on the kids for it. I honestly don’t think there’s anything we could have done to change the outcome anyway.
Yeah, nah … that game was over as soon as the ball was tipped, and our guys have worked their asses off lately. Regroup, heal up, try to win a game and go on a little run.
They have ample other distractions on that campus, though.

Good thing the refs got us for 22 tonight… Sarcasm, Duke was just crazy better than us – take it from someone who was at the game.
Gott’s gotta get this team ready for next weekend but the whining shown from our fans on Twitter is embarrassing – SFN included. Stop crying about everything for a change – this site has become a joke on campus (currently a junior – on the same level as Onion Sports) which sucks since I’ve followed it since early high school.
If Cat’s up and ready and I can easily see us showing up in the Sweet 16 ready to make some noise. We can do this!

Just overwhelmed. Not prepared for zone trap early. Duke hit shots and shoulders slumped. It was over early. Heads never in it, unfortunately. Credit to Duke, they just kicked our ass.
