Our extreme inability to play with a lead and put teams away taking root, again.
I also get tired of seeing teams scoring after they’ve obviously turned the ball over. That really hasn’t been a problem for us much though this season, right? (/sarcasm)
Not sure I agreed about wide-open ACCT. I expect Duke to dominate. From a betting standpoint, I’d take just Duke and give you the rest of the field.
^Really? I agree that Duke is the overall favorite, but I do feel that they are very beatable. Defense is suspect, and any team that relies on the 3 that much is one off night away… Trouble is, they’re usually 50% from three since the right players take the shots haha.
Hope everyone just noticed how Lee and Barber just stopped a Hanlan drive … earlier he could get to the basket at will.
Extreme trade-offs on this team with respect to defense vs. offense. It’s been very interesting. I really expected a lot more from Lee offensively this season tbh.
You simply can’t play WBS and BSW together tonight. Neither can so much as pretend to guard Hanlan.

Should we win this evening, I do not relish the thought of facing Miami again – even though I doubt we’d see a replay of what happened at the PNC a week or so ago.
It’s a longshot that VT goes 3-3 against Miami, but VT did in fact beat Miami twice for their only two ACC wins. So, there could be hope yet … VT’s zone is aggravating, but I don’t think they have the firepower to keep up with us should that matchup come to fruition.
A loss tonight and facing FSU doesn’t sound much better. That would probably be a toss up at best. Oh well, let’s just control what we can control and win the games put forth to us 🙂
I am thankful that the chances of facing Maryland again are slim at best. Even though I would love sending them to the B1G with another L, recent history suggests that N.C. State sh*t would take full root in a contest against Maryland.
