Glad the guys are keeping their heads in it even though Syracuse is trying desperately to put them to sleep
03/14/2014 at 7:28 PM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46163wufpup76KeymasterWe’re fortunate not to be down a lot … got to loosen that zone up.
Christmas & Grant have our guys gun-shy down low.
03/14/2014 at 7:26 PM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46162wufpup76KeymasterI like Barber trying to probe, but we are looking pretty bad on O … their zone is doing it’s job so far 🙁
03/14/2014 at 7:24 PM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46160wufpup76KeymasterCan’t score again … 🙁

03/14/2014 at 7:21 PM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46156wufpup76KeymasterMight’ve gotten a break on that call … hope Washington can hit one
03/14/2014 at 7:18 PM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46154wufpup76KeymasterThey’re not paying any attention to V-berg down low … need Washington and Lewis to settle down a bit
03/14/2014 at 7:13 PM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46149wufpup76KeymasterThere you go Vberg … confidence big fella
03/14/2014 at 7:11 PM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46148wufpup76KeymasterNice – get fouls on them in transition all night
03/14/2014 at 7:07 PM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46146wufpup76Keymastersuper anxious … let’s see what happens
wufpup76KeymasterHoly sh*t – 58 foul calls? I’m glad I slept through it now
wufpup76KeymasterUpdating some bubble scores –
Tennessee up by 14 in the 2nd against the crazy Frank Martins
St. Joseph’s takes out our friend Archie Miller and Dayton 🙁
Nebraska loses to Ohio State
Missouri is destroyed by Florida
——-
To keep an eye on:
Seton Hall will face Creighton later in the Big East semis … Pirates a potential bid stealer
St. Bonaventure beats St. Louis and will face St. Joseph’s in the A10 semis – two potential bid stealers – definitely so in the case of the Bonnieswufpup76Keymaster^I slept through the entire game and missed all the fun 🙁
Pitt vs. Virginia will be an interesting semi-final.
Let’s make this an extra-special day and go ahead and win tonight 🙂 … We win, they lose – nothing better!
wufpup76KeymasterThis link has us as a 5 seed, UMD and Clemson at 4, FSU at 1.
Having a hard time with the link not showing. Here’s the copy/paste link:
http://www.bracketmatrix.com/nit.html
Or just google “Bracket Project” – they’ve got both the NCAA and NIT on the site.
^I would say something about Maryland being seeded higher than us – but this is the NIT, so what’s the point? 🙂
As for linking pages, I don’t think it’s currently possible for ‘members’ to provide qualified text links, only ‘admins’ … So, like you, I just copy/paste the link I’d like to share. While I’m broaching this subject, ‘members’ can not have curse or inflammatory words in their posts (which is fine), but ‘admins’ can. It’s only an issue when quoting an admin who has a post that contains curse words.
So if any of you have trouble with your posts you can start there 🙂
wufpup76KeymasterPlus, they are a bunch of arses.
^Yeah. I’ll admit to missing the match-ups – and of course you can’t top Lefty – but overall their giant do*chebaggery makes it all but impossible for me to keep saying anything other than ‘buh bye’.
03/14/2014 at 9:31 AM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #46006wufpup76KeymasterIt’s only weird if it doesn’t work.
True that, sir.
03/14/2014 at 9:06 AM in reply to: #7 NC STATE vs #2 SYRACUSE Preview (ACC Tournament Edition) #45995wufpup76KeymasterYou should have picked us to win by 100 points.
Why not?!
If ever there was a ‘throw the kitchen sink at them’, this is it. Absolutely nothing to lose.
wufpup76Keymaster^I fell asleep just before Clemson-GT went to overtime – a game that GT had full control of. I guess minimal sleep and maximum basketball will eventually force you to sleep even when games are going to overtime 🙂
To recap yesterday’s bubble losers (some of these teams will be fine, but still are technically ‘bubble’):
SMU
Iowa (a very 2006 NC State collapse down the stretch)
Oklahoma State
St. John’s
Kansas State
Utah
Arkansas
California
Oregon
West Virginia
Arizona StateToday’s bubble games (Friday, 3/14):
FSU vs. Virginia
Missouri vs. Florida
Pittsburgh vs. *nx
Nebraska vs. Ohio State
Dayton vs. St. Joseph’s (possible elimination game for either team)
Tennessee vs. South Carolina
Minnesota vs. Wisconsin
VCU vs. Richmond
Providence vs. Seton Hall
Colorado vs. Arizona
George Washington vs. UMass (both teams projected ‘in’)
Baylor vs. Texas
Xavier vs. Creighton
Stanford vs. UCLAwufpup76Keymaster“Nothing would make SFN happier than sending Boeheim home a loser in his first ACC Tournament game in Greensboro.”
^And sending him to the Grand Slam Special at Denny’s early.
wufpup76Keymaster^You’re correct, I must have transposed the Penn St. score or saw it listed wrong somewhere.
Faint hopes for NC State too be sure, still fascinating taking in all these bubble results.
wufpup76KeymasterArkansas lost to South Carolina. Xavier down early to Marquette.
Bubbles are popping all over the place. Stanford – not a lock – taking on HWSNBN.
wufpup76KeymasterPenn State beat Minnesota … Houston beat SMU
Should we pull a couple of miracles on Friday and Saturday those results could loom large.
wufpup76Keymaster9-0 run for them, 12-0 run for us … nice response
wufpup76KeymasterI have come to the conclusion that no matter what roster Larranaga has, you are going to have to work your a** off for a win
wufpup76KeymasterWay to go V-berg!
