Not a shock to see Cliff Ellis’ team on that list … nor is it surprising to see Connecticut.
Connecticut already missed one postseason due to this exact issue; why they haven’t already adopted ‘The Hole Method’ is a mystery.

^I’m guessing they did the best the could w/r/t to sites … I believe it’s not entirely uncommon for lower seeds to host games, for various reasons. I believe State benefited from this one season playing at the PNC, iirc.
Still, a #5 is a good seed considering a couple of tough injuries over the past month. Hope the best for the ladies 🙂
The team that appears to slightly deserve a spot over State is Cal.
^Perhaps, but Cal really faltered late, losing 4 of their last 5. Losing in their Pac 12 quarters to Colorado appeared to be the coup de grace.

Go to any website and there are comments ripping the committee for picking State ahead of SMU. If you want to pick out State’s flaws and make a case against them that’s fine, but almost no one makes a coherent case for SMU other than “but theys wuz ranked!!!111′.
It is pretty easy to see why SMU was excluded even if you only follow trends and not so much numbers. “Bad schedule + bad (or any) early loss in conference tourney + any other bad losses = exclusion”.
People need things to b*tch about though, so there’s that 🙂

It never ceases to amaze how far people will go to prove that “they are right”. A case can be made for Green Bay. But to speak falsities about another team (N.C. State) in order to make your case – well, then, that’s not much of a case.
I would’ve put in Green Bay over BYU, but again, BYU’s sos sealed the deal.
A lot of hate out there for our inclusion, and not a lot of analysis as to why things fell the way they did.

Gottfried coming up at the top of the hour. The whining about our inclusion from Lunardi and Goodman is priceless. Nothing against Lunardi, but Goodman can suck it. Fun times! 🙂
