Nate and Rivers had some words on one tackle after a Phillip scramble. Nate continues to play well in the midst of an awesome retooled Denver D. Rivers is carrying the bolts.

If Russell got Percy gone, then that is fine with me. The Seachickens made the real mistake in letting Golden Tate go. The QB has to be the team leader, he does not have to be liked… just respected.

On another QB note, if Glennon had just a little better team around him, I think he would be great. He does not have the Kaepernick moves, but he does have the Kaepernick rifle.

I am wholly with the “Rebuilding” consensus. Six or seven wins season is gravy. We all know the TOB bare cupboard story, so Coach D gets a pass for now. It will take a few years to restock. In the mean time, the Pollyanna in me (sorry… ick) sees some good trends (decent offense,in spite of yesterday and, good recruiting.)

I really think our few more wins include one over the Holes on the Hill. I also think we get a bowl trip, although I am not going to Detroit or the Big Apple in late December.

Oh… and they are now projecting that the Holes get to recruit Detroit in early winter (vs. hapless Michigan).

Speaking of lower tier bowls… USAToday has us in the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit on 12/26. Michigan recuiting inroads right there, I tell ya!

@BJD… Speaking of football in Cinncy in December, I already have my MNF tickets for the Broncos vs. Bengals in hand. Gonna be a cold, but complete a$$ kicking of the tiggers. Even with my love and respect for Russell, I want a return date with the seachickens!

West side of Wolf Creek Pass in Southern Colorado near Pagosa Springs, chains only. Drove it regularly. Also, the Million Dollar Highway as it drops into Ouray. When we lived in Raleigh in the 80s and it snowed, we would grab the popcorn and go watch folks navigate Western Blvd.

Manning vs Wilson. Denver finds a way and Seattle quiets the SF d’bags.

I have gone to all Audio Books in the since 2009. No music for my workouts, just books. Also, as I sit out by my firepit at night with a good cigar and scotch, it is very relaxing to listen to a good reader tell the tale. I read so much techical literature at work that my escape lit is Historical Fiction, Military SciFi and some Fantasy. I have listened to over 100 novels over the past 4 years and finished all 5 of the Game of Thrones novels in the last four months. I know it sounds a little lazy, but a good book read by a good narrator is just the ticket to ease the end of a stressful day.

Denver (think BJD is with me on that one)… then Seattle (only because I like RW > PR).

I like the new look. Did hate to see the Yow/DT/V/Rivers logo go though… was hoping for an update to include RW. Page loading for me is a little laggy due to the ACC Video in upper right. Checked it on my iphone 5 and Nexus tablet and all rendered fine. Looking forward to the revamped forums.

I have been pleasantly surprised with this team. Not having to deal with all the drama from last year’s failed-potential is refreshing. These guys know that they have to work hard to be anywhere close to post season play. Only lament I have is the “D”. It seems like Gott can’t get that defensive intensity level up, and that will be make-or-break for this team.

That being said, I will be in Knoxville next week wearing RED and yelling “GO STATE”.
