I don’t know. I think there were flashes of brilliance the last time we won against the Cheats in their house. Looks like the beginning of the end. So I guess the next big question is who is going to replace Huxtable to “right the ship” for the crappy defense while DD is on the hot seat? If he gets another season…
Anyways… I think the qb play was much improved from last year and that’s no dig on JB. I think it is coaching. Nice to see Finley actual read the field and not freak out if he doesn’t find someone open in 2-3 seconds and run up the middle for a short run. It was just baffling last year. Next week should be a good test for the team. Hostile environment against ECU which is always pumped up to beat us.
Anyone think we can’t beat the cheats? The run defense looked like crap and the offense did almost nothing. Special teams is the only reason it was even close. Always a good day when the cheats lose!
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t that Street’s first college sack? I can understand the excitement but use your GD head.
DD has brought in something TOB never did bring in… consistency. (Of course barring the first season) We have beat who we were suppose to beat. The only problem is games that are 50/50 or when we’re the dogs. We have consistently lost those but at least he is consistent! 🙂 It was great beating the FSUs of the world but losing to the Wake Forests of the world the following week. Critical people want to bring up those big wins under TOB while criticizing DD but say nothing about the big losses. I am hoping we breakthrough this year and at least win one of those 50/50 games or better yet when we are the dogs. Give it time. That win will come!

Why wouldn’t Asshat leave? You can beat up on a weakass coastal division and be in the playoff talks. He said himself to everyone not to worry about the NCAA. If the NCAA is smart they would hammer them just like a parent would when a kid does something then says you aren’t going to do anything about it. Just business as usual for the cheaters. I read even if they beat clemson today then the cheats would have more wins against FCS teans then currently ranked teams. Weak schedule. Hope it shows tonight.
Martin intentionally goes around the player and is called for the foul. That will show him… next time he better jump up and try a smack the sh#t out of the player.
WTF. Wake is out recruiting us. What else can we do? We had momentum going for us last year but not seeing any on the recruiting field. This season was a disappointment. Exact same position we were last year but not coming off a 3 win season. So probably no help there in recruiting.
Still no signature win in the doeren years. We are finally beating who we are suppose to but not getting the big wins. TOB could pull off the big wins but not be consistent against the the little guys. Which poison do you pick?
If we had coming out playing like this then we would be winning. They slammed us too hard in the first quarter.
