Probably our best chance of winning in Tally, as the stars seem to be perfectly aligning, in a long time. Whether the team shows up for the challenge… well we will know by late Saturday afternoon. Hopefully, the new Freshmen QB struggles to find his groove and never really gets going but knowing our luck, we will probably be the first to witness the newest college QB superstar and future NFL QB. Let’s hope the D decides to finally show up. I think we need a fast start and show no mercy!
Why isn’t Gallaspy starting and getting more carries? His vision to find holes in the defense is amazing. He just “knows or “feels” where to go to get those extra few yards we need on drives. I understand Hines is fast and may have a higher chance of making long plays but most of the time he just hits the back of his own teammate and slows down until the defender(s) get him. I’d rather have a workhorse like Gallaspy starting and carrying the ball with Hines as a secondary role with his potential to make long plays in the open field.
Keep in mind this is Marshall out running us to the edge with regularity.
