Am I sounding enough like a UNCheater fan?My bad….getting old, memory getting fuzzy…he made it to the semis that year. That was the “Noles > Holes” tournament.
Happens to the best of us. I just remember that game so well… the tick tacky foul. Basically, I learned that day you have stiff-arm someone’s a** to the ground in basketball and not get called for the offensive foul, and on social media a bunch of Cheater Homers saying it wasn’t a foul because his feet were moving. BS! Then why not just spear a player to open the lane for your teammate as long as his feet are moving? Then after the game the Cheater player saying he knew the refs wouldn’t call him for a “tick tacky” foul. Fouls are different went you were the color blue…
But I’d also remind everyone that each of our last three coaches took their first team to the ACC Tournament finals (they all lost, of course)
Gottfried never made it to any ACC final but I get what you are saying. This team exceeded any of our expectations. One game will not define this season, team, or coach.
NCAA ain’t gonna to do sh*t. If we have to vacate our wins from last season then the Cheaters will have to vacate their wins and their coveted National Championship. Not to mention the other dozen top programs that would have to vacate their wins. However, I would vacate our wins from a crappy season if it meant the Cheaters lose a banner… I’d make that trade every day of the week!
I’d dare the NCAA to pick and choose which teams and which games will and will not be vacated.

And the right is not???? Yes I am right leaning but both play the same game. I’m old enough to have had devotions and said the pledge every morning in school. I also was trained in how to properly treat the flag and was part of the group that raised and lowered the flag each day. So I’m not some “leftist” who knows nothing or doesn’t care. This has become the current “wedge issue” to take our minds away from more serious issues.

You can’t have it both ways. You can’t praise Trump for calling a “spade a spade” then criticize the left for dividing us because Trump’s rhetoric is divisive as well… This issue would have just died down and went away until Trump opened his mouth. As President of the United States, you (as well as everyone) should hold yourself to a higher standard then calling players protesting “sons of b*tches” while calling protesting Neo-Nazis “fine people”.
Yea. It might have been luck. Actually, it probably was luck with some skills. Either way, this is the win the team needed and truly deserved after the past 5 years, and you can say blah blah hurricane blah blah freshmen quarter blah blah FSU was rusty but either way, it will hopefully improve the players’ confidence and will translate into more wins especially close games. We are truly in uncharted waters right now in the DD era (unless you want to count the Notre Dame win from last year). Let’s see how we handle Syracuse.
It is disrespectful to the flag and to the nation. The flag and patriotism is all we have binding us together. If you think of yourself as black, African, white, Asian, Hispanic, LBGT or whatever BEFORE you think of yourself as an American, that’s part of the problem. Unfortunately that is exactly what the left wants to do, divide. Good on Trump for calling a spade a spade. MAGA!
Right… it’s the left trying to divide us. :-\ Not Trump bringing up protests at a rally to feed his backward base… Although nothing like an idiotic statement from Trump to actual UNITE people together against him! Maybe Trump is smarter than we thought. The Great Uniter!
