I know you said the NFL wasn’t your thing, but my numbers deal works best with the NFL, college FB or BB not so much. I pay scant attention to the NBA. I’ve had many good Sundays using my system, but have not used it so much lately. I suppose my interest in the NFL is waning as the Chargers continue to stink, and now appear to be headed to LA, and as for my local Bucs, well, between Jameis and the Glazers I have become indifferent to their success.

This looks like it could be gravy. Southland Conference bottom-feeding Cowboys (3-7) give up 85 ppg. Avg loss is by 24. Purdue blood-letted them by 44 and Memphis civil disordered them by 39..End of the bench is anxious…Go Pack!

Well, it seems that Coach Rat finally got the gonads to discipline the little twerp. Watching the replay of this flagrant and intentional trip, Coach Rat obviously was left with no other choice. He’s suspended indefinitely. Their next game opens their ACC schedule @ Va Tech on 12-31 followed by a home game against Ga Tech on 1-4-17 and another home game against BC on 1-7-17. So, three games that they should easily handle without the jerk before heading to Tallahassee on 1-10-17 where I’m willing to bet his suspension will be over. That should teach the little serial tripper. Not. Bet he trips someone else before the season ends.
Indeed, BOTB…Perhaps there is hope for King Hamburger, I mean King Hippo.. and I humbly admit to firing the first shot at his port(ly) side back on page one.
I’d like to see Teddy K. have a breakout game and not get saddled with stupid fouls. So far it’s been hard to tell just how much impact he may have for us..Hate to count on King H. He’s a beastly bulging man…sans the blue leisure suit.

Finally finished this excellent thread. An emotional roller coaster earlier on. Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats gouging the Holes at Kenan. Not. A. Damn. Thing. I’m still fired up.
Double D will be back next year, and while some here will disagree, I think it is a good thing – for a number of reasons – some that have been mentioned already. Barring any early defections the defense, especially the line, should be great next year as we lose only Monty Nelson up front I believe. We lose no linebackers, but lose Tocho, Wright and Clark in the secondary. This defense is currently ranked 4th in the nation in run defense and 27th in Total Defense.
All in all, not a great season, but not our worst. A 33yard FG and an end zone pluck – who knows how it shakes out. Six and six is nothing to brag about but it beats no bowl over the holiday.
I recall back in 2010 when we beat UNCheats at Kenan, my father (N.C. State class of 1950) was still alive, albeit in a nursing home with dementia. I reported the Pack’s victory to him the falling day and he was as excited and responsive as I’d seen him in a long time. I wish he had been here for this one. Perhaps he was.
