You know, I wish there was some way NCSU could get into a decent conference. I just have no desire what so ever to watch us play those cheating, grade inflating, academic frauds from UNC-Chapel Hill. The conference is gone and it isn’t coming back. Some of the things I have heard about that The CHeats do to get and keep their basketball players in that school would make Calipari blush. Add in that “baby blue homer” Swofford going to try and convince the NCAA to lessen their punishment and also not kicking those KH loving refs out of the tournament sickens me to my stomach.
I will not watch another ACC game that NCSU is not playing in because the conference is a fraud. I have convinced my immediate family to also join in this boycott. I am working on my friends now.
There is only one way out of this total mess for NCSU and everyone knows it.
Sid needs to immediately tell the BOT that he is just not comfortable as a college coach and will be going back to the NBA at seasons end.
Then the people with the bucks can hire a search firm and find a new coach while keeping things real quiet.
At the end of the season, Sid resigns to go back to the NBA before his reputation is totally trashed. Fowler is handed a note for him to read – if he can do that correctly – that, much to his surprise, announces our new coach.
The resignation and hiring is done over a 24-48 hour span so the new coach can immediately work on the incoming freshman class, and the current commits, and perhaps bring a player or two he is recruiting in. Then he begin coaching the team and recruiting.
Anything other than the above, and it is total chaos.
