Anyone who went to the game yesterday, I need a ticket stub from the game for my collection. Please email me at [email protected] for mailing address. I also need a stub from the Presbyterian game. Thanks for anyone’s help.

130T, well said and I agree completely. I’ve had season tickets for 23 years and this is my last, for the same reasons you mentioned. IMHO, this is the worst coach we’ve had since Tom Reed! The schedule is laughable and so will the attendance be. After losing the Ga. Southern game, it will be all downhill from there. I’ve just decided its not the way I want to spend my hard earned cash.

Game one! 12 noon in late Aug.???? What???? Okay, I won’t be there. Almost passed out at that Clemson game you all were referring to. This will be my LAST year to buy LTR tickets. The scheduliing is the reason, not the heat. I’m sick of paying out the nose to see these teams. We’ll lose the game against Ga. So. anyway. See you for the 1st confenence game of the season. I’m out!!!

Pack85, yes! I was very negative but that is how I feel about this coach and team. I Pray I’m wrong but I have not seen anything that impresses me! I’ll be pulling for the Pack in every game but yes, I see us losing to South Florida and Ga. So. or ODU. Again, I pray I’m wrong!!! Go Pack!!!!

I love the Wolfpack but I won’t be at the games this year or in the future until some changes are made. I hope we have a great season but the way I see it, we’ll be 2 and 2 after the first 4 games. Hope I’m wrong but I have no confidence in this coaching staff or this team. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be pulling for the team as always, but don’t expect much. So, we might win 6 games and go to a 2nd rate bowl. With this schedule, we should win 8 games easily but it won’t happen. Another year below mediocrity, but with a little luck, we’ll be mediocre. Go Pack!!!

I’ll be back to Carter Finley when we have a new Atletic Department that really cares.

Correction to my last post. I meant “Fortune 500,” not “Forbes 500”. I am so upset with the scheduling that I can’t see the page I’m writing on. I’ve decided to not renew my season tickets after this season. Looking back at the money I’ve wasted on games like Presby., South Alabama, Citadel, Troy, etc. Good bye Carter Finley, it was a good ride until about 6 years ago.

I also believe someone’s head needs to role for this kind of scheduling. I’ve been negotiating contracts for Forbes 500 business for 25 years and its not that difficult. Why don’t they just let some of us with experience in this do it on a volunteer basis. We certainly couldn’t do any worse. Change is a good thing when it points in the upward direction but if it points in the downward direction, just go ahead and change again. D.D. himself said he wanted to play one name program a year but we’re not doing that. Get to work on improving or get out and quit whining. We’ve had coaches before who were winners and it didn’t take 5 years to turn things around. So, I assume we’ll still be rebuilding in 2017, when we play at Troy!!!

I agree that the problem is inside our administration. But I’m tired of hearing this is “rebuilding year.” We’ve been rebuilding since 1982. I’m just fed up with this crap!!!!

I keep hearing that “We need to put ourselves in a position to be competitive.” That is not a realistic view of building a winning team. You don’t lower your standards to be competitive with those weaker programs, you work your butt off to be competitive with those stonger programs. The real reason we are scheduling teams like this is to make every effort to win 6 games and go to a bowl! IMHO, that is a pathetic way to build a football program. If our coach can’t handle a tougher schedule, then get a coach that can. If the AD can’t handle it then get an AD that can. There are no excuses!!! I’ve been a proponent of leaving the ACC and joining the SEC but with this philosphy, maybe we need to leave the ACC and join the Sun Belt Conference so we can be competitive. I’m sorry, but I’m not paying $50 to see Presbyterian, Ga. Southern, Old Dominion or Troy play my beloved Wolfpack. Let’s play some decent competition and see Carter Finley full and rocking again. I’ve been a season ticket holder since 1972 and remember seeing some great teams come to C.F., Penn St., Florida, Michigan State, Texas Tech, SMU, etc. Compare the teams we’re playing with the teams UNX is playing and their coach is only in his 3rd year. Look at Duke and Wake’s schedules and even App. St. and ECU non conference games and our’s non-conference schedule is the worst one of all the teams in the state. There are no excuses for this!!!! Why would you agree to go to Southern Alabama and play a football game in early Sept. where it’s 90 degrees with 100% humidity? And really, why would you agree to a home and home with teams like this? I’m very close to dropping my Wolfpack Club membership! I’m out!!!!

I agree Texpack! The ACC could adopt the “Strength of Schedule” model. Aparently, that is the only way the Wolfpack will ever get a decent non-conference opponent. For some reason our folks don’t want a decent team coming to Carter Finley. If we adopted the model, Notre Dame could be considered that opponent the years a team plays them. Just a thought!

Sorry we’re losing Tyler! Great job young man and I wish you the best. Next year looks good. We are undefeated right now and I’m looking for a 20 win regular season and losing in the semi final in the ACCT. A 9 seed in the NCAA. Now, that all depends on wheather we can learn to shoot free throws or not and if someone can come though as a shooter of 3’s. Let’s be positive and say we win the ACCT and make it to the final four. Go Pack!!!!

I’m sorry to hear this. I like TL and wish he could keep a good attitude even if he transfers. He could really be a “Little Big Man” if he gets the attitude straightened out.

What????? Swoff. is trying his best to protect his holes. There is no way to justify State and UNX not playing a home & home, at least. Swoff. has basically destroyed the ACC. I still say, LETS GET OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m hoping for the best next season, but I’m not sold yet. If there is marked improvement quickly, we’ll lose the first game vs Ga. So. Make no misake, I’m all in and will be in may seats pulling for the Pack but like Prowing Wuffie, “Show me!”
