Pack92Participant
And now we have reached the same place we reached with TOB. Not in record but apathy. The team has quit and they may as well because they have no faith in their coaching.
We should hire Manny Diaz and see what Drink can do when he’s allowed to play. I doubt seriuously with the size of Jalen McClendon that Drink would have tried Matt Dayes from the 2 prior to the false start call.Unbelievable.
Pack92ParticipantCanada couldn’t get 1 first down in the last 3 minutes of the cheat game when he had to. He also went away from using what had worked for 3 qtrs. in that game. Sound familiar?
Pack92ParticipantAeight, I’ll say it – Todd Fing Turner. Capital letter #1 POS. He absolutely had an agenda at NC State that he executed to perfection. However, his true leadership ability, or lack thereof, has been shown in his track record since NC State. I can’t remember a position he wasn’t fired from and I’m sure they ALL said good riddance.
I like both the diamond and block S as well.
Pack92ParticipantAWESOME shot of Wolfpack legends.
I agree. Coach Sheridan looks great!Pack92ParticipantThis was simply awesome to watch. WHen you can throw breaking balls on the outside at 84 and come back across the hitters wrists at 96 – you’ll do well. Carlos did well.
Way to go Carlos!Pack92ParticipantAnd let’s go Razorbacks! Stomp through the unx cesspool.
Pack92ParticipantInteresting post from the Nova faithful. Heard very similar things from Georgetown folks a few years back. We will need to be focused, show defensive intensity and play our A game from start to finish.
What the Nova guy doesn’t understand is that Nova would NOT be a #1 seed had they played in the ACC.
Pack92ParticipantOh to have been at the coliseum selling “Catholics vs CHeaters” t-shirts
Suck it holes
Pack92ParticipantOMG ‘Foose. I love reading your comments and the one above may be a classic it was SO well said.
I changed with the CD. You could absolutely see something in the UL game. We lost but it wasn’t a confusion, lack of discipline loss like we see in one of our current sports. We went down swinging and I think the season turned on THAT game.
Does Riley remind anyone else of Carl Reeves? For those of you young guys here he was the fastest first step DE we’ve ever had at NC State and a joy to watch play football. Speaking with him in Raleigh sometime around ’97 or’98 I asked him if he ever truly weighed what the guide listed him as. I think I asked if he ever got to 245 lbs. Carl laughed and said “With my uniform on”. If you ever get the chance to talk to him Carl is one of the nicest Pack player alums you’ll ever speak with.
Welcome Mr. Riley!01/14/2015 at 6:14 PM in reply to: Technician Let’s Us Down: “No Daily Tar Hell”. Students Respond #69496Pack92ParticipantApparently the new breed of “journalist” at NC State should be getting their “journalism” degree 25 miles to the west. Journalist. Whatever.
Pack92ParticipantAgree 100% with JG78 & Mr. P. Should have happened a long time ago.
BUT, KKKarma is a b!tch huh KKKarl?
Maybe Liberty will allow you to ref women’s volleyball or that most sought after of spectator sports- field hockey.Pack92ParticipantHowell reminds me of a young Audie Cole. Good but not great speed that he makes up for by seeing where the ball is going. More importantly, it looks like the ball carrier goes backward more often than not. He hits with energy.
Welcome to the Pack Mr. Howell!
Pack92ParticipantGreat analysis 1.21.
I’ve only seen the Pack play once this year against Tennessee. I was underwhelmed. It seems we have plenty of firepower, especially from outside (Turner, Lacey) and I think by the end of the year we are going to have a beast in Abu inside. The support players are there in Washington and Martin. However, as in most chemical reactions, you need a spark and/or catalyst. His name is Cat Barber.
I’ve been most amazed at how timid Cat is. He is typically the quickest person on the floor yet hesitates to slash. He also passes up seemingly easy 10 ft jumpshots that a point guard should look for all day. His defense is good but only if we get a chance to play in a half court set.
Is he afraid of getting pulled? Is this some type of hangover from last year when he was splitting time with Tyler? Maybe. Cat has really only been THE MAN for this year and is still learning.
If he doesn’t improve I don’t see us improving much. The unorganized looks we’ve seen will continue. If that does occur then Alpha nailed it. The question will have to be asked of why is the talent we are bringing in not improving? A lot hinges on this year and one young man.Pack92ParticipantGood luck Bo! With your work ethic & smarts it won’t be luck that gets you where you’re going.
His replacement is already on the team though a redshirt and another Hines from Garner will also be filling in nicely. Coach D has this covered.12/28/2014 at 8:22 AM in reply to: While The Wolfpack Basks In Victory, UNC Players Are Calling Each Other Out #67210Pack92ParticipantWell said as usual Alpha. The smoking embers at the hole are about to erupt into a full-fledged bonfire.
Buy popcorn.Pack92ParticipantWow. Just plain wow. Where did this O-line come from? We haven’t dominated a bowl like this since the dissection of ND in the Gator Bowl.
Way to go guys and way to go Coach D!
Pack92ParticipantHit the road.
Next.
Pack92ParticipantVery interesting. I wish the kid the best but his decision making is suspect at best. A kid of his talent, who watched the team he committed to get destroyed by it’s in-state rival, who plays defense but has no D coordinator, certainly has better LEGITIMATE options in Raleigh. Under the current circumstances the belief that certain promises have been made to him is justified. How those will play out with coming sanctions remains to be seen. Perhaps the talent being assembled at NC State doesn’t allow his star to shine so brightly in his mind?
Remember one thing Mike, James Summers was also made some promises by unx. How’d that work out for him?
35-7 was no fluke.Pack92ParticipantI don’t blame him for not wanting/getting Houston. That school is 3rd tier in TX for football. A&M would have been a totally different story.
Auburn is going to be VERY scary next year with him as DC. The man simply produces outstanding defenses period. Couple that to a Malzahn point-producing offense and it could get ugly…for the opposing teams.Pack92ParticipantThe fact that ND even factors into the bowl picture stinks. It’s just as easy to say “GO to hell ND” as it is carowhina. Get in the ACC or get out but screw your “affiliation”.
Hoping for the Belk. Would be nice to take the family.
Pack92ParticipantSuck it holes.
Somebody HAS to have a pic of that scoreboard
11/24/2014 at 8:58 PM in reply to: Tim Peeler on Jimmy V: “What Have We Gotten Ourselves Into?” #62385Pack92ParticipantWell said Adventuroo. Could not agree more.
It really does not seem that long ago that a red 300Z was pulling into the back of Reynolds and V would get out. He always smiled and waved even though towards the end you KNEW that was the last thing he wanted to do.Those of us around during your time here still miss you Coach. We always will.
Pack92ParticipantLying, cheating, arrogant bastards is much more applicable.
Way to come through Pack!
Pack92ParticipantGuys, you really need to watch the Sara Ganim video posted on CNN. OMG do they lay it out and particularly focus on the amount of time unx stonewalled and the fact that EVERYTHING Mary said is now proving to be true.
Lying cheating arrogant bastards.
Pack92ParticipantTake our new carbon black helmets (minus the ridiculous red in back) and wrap a bigger red Tuffy on that. Similar to a Boise State or Mizzou helmet.
It really isn’t hard to get OUR brand to look halfway decent instead of like something a pee-wee football team wears.
