ParticipantJust make the fans a lil happy, please.
tjfoose1
ParticipantOk, maybe that one was a little snarky. Apologies. But from your own comments regarding the ‘quality’ of the ACC, it would appear you don’t completely disagree.
tjfoose1
ParticipantBut dude, seriously?
“But according to espn’s stats, we ranked 79th in total offense last year. Florida? 114th. In other words, only 9 teams were worse.”
We here at Statefans have grown accustomed to analysis with a little more depth and relevance. Look no further than the UF opponents I listed to see where your conclusion falls flat.
Btw, Florida was only ‘especially bad’ by their and SEC standards. Had they been in the ACC Coastal, they would have been competing for an ACC title game birth.

ParticipantNo anger felt or intentionally conveyed. Just making statements directed towards a retort questioning the validity of my comment.
No terse words or terms were used. Just matter of fact statements.
Had I realize we had on our sensitive skirts, I would have thrown in a smilie face or two.
tjfoose1
ParticipantTranslation, an emphatic NO.
But he’ll be back anyway.

Participant“Florida was especially horrible last year with a JV offense.”
And exactly what kind of offense did the Wolfpack run, Pop Warner?
“They lost a bunch of games. Even we probably could
have hung with them.”You lose all credibility here. Florida was no where near that bad. They may not have looked all that great, but they were playing the likes of UGA, SC, FSU, LSU , and Mizzou and were competitive in most games.

ParticipantI got that, LRM. If an option team doesn’t attempt a pass, it means all is going well, extremely well. No pass attempts means there was no need to try.
tjfoose1
ParticipantRight. I was responding to what I perceived as disregard for Ga Southern as a quality opponent, if not a quality draw.
tjfoose1
ParticipantUh yeah. That’s what option offenses do. Not rely on the pass.
tjfoose1
ParticipantYou all realize Ga Southern beat Florida at the Swamp last year, right? And that they were probably scheduled as supplemental
prep for GT?
The former makes having them on the schedule even worse, the latter makes it better.

ParticipantNo c’mon guys, we learned in basketball that it’s the Wolfpack’s fault for not overcoming the asshat calls from behind the plate. NC State has no one to blame but themselves. No excuses for not being able to overcome the opponents and the officiating.
tjfoose1
ParticipantSorry Beej. In today’s ultrasensitive PC world, a ram and a gay cheating smurf is always gonna get the preferred treatment over a carnivorous predatory Wolfpack.tjfoose1
ParticipantYep. Umpire showboating his 3rd strike call and starts with his back to the play. Pathetic.
tjfoose1
ParticipantJeff Gillooly?
tjfoose1
ParticipantNot even close. Umpire sleeping.
tjfoose1
ParticipantUmpire blows back to back calls.
tjfoose1
ParticipantDon’t interrupt my bitch’n, Wuf.
tjfoose1
ParticipantAnd that gets us back to back K’s with the bags juiced. Brilliant.
tjfoose1
ParticipantPinch hitter in the 4th? And another?
tjfoose1
ParticipantThx. There’s DISH here, no HD. I’ll guess I’ll have to run home at halftime.
tjfoose1
ParticipantWind is gonna be a factor.
tjfoose1
ParticipantNo HD?
tjfoose1
ParticipantI liked the 1st inning better.

ParticipantWasting seasons with NFL talent QB’s.
Ah, yes, traditions. But the rare exceptions do make it exciting.
I especially like how were where able to time it just right so when we had NFL talent across the board on defense (3 first rounders on the DL alone) we had absolutely nothing at QB. That takes brilliant planning folks.
