I hope Coach G realizes I’m responsible for this win and appreciates my sacrifice.

I put $10 on VT at halftime to ixnay the 2nd half collapse that was sure to come.

And to ensure all magical universe karmic powers where whammied out, I bet a VT alum.

CD, I’m working the reverse, double negative, Chewbacca defense mojo. It’s worked in the past. Don’t distract my focus.

The Pack will be favored at home next week against VT. Take out a mortgage and bet on the Hokies to win outright.

Actually… That would be like a dagger to the heart. Too quick and painless. This is all about dragging it out for a long painful exasperating death. Gotta keep the hope alive to maximize the tease and pain.

But wait. There’s still u*nc and ‘cuse to follow, along with the ACC Tourney. With today’s win, this will be just enough. So yes, bank it. Bet the house on a VT victory.

You called it Beej. I don’t follow the threads anymore, so I missed that.

The bad news is you’re thinking like me. Condolences.

I called that very sequence of events before the UVA tipoff.

That was too early. UVA wasn’t the ‘last chance’ game. They still had this game. It’s all about maximizing the elasticity of the rollercoastering jerking of emotions. But only if you let them.

Calling out all those geniuses who gave up on Barber during the early part of his SOPHOMORE year.

As for the team, don’t fall for it, don’t let them sucker you in. I’ve seen this movie before.

They’ll beat Louisville @ Louisville just to tease and maximize the pain and frustration when they lose their next game to VT at the PNC. It’s just the way it is.

Don’t fall for it. Own yourself.

I don’t know basketball, but I know coaching and team/player management. I’m not a Gott critic, and appreciate what he’s done for the program. But from what Ive seen, I’d be surprised if he’s around to see all his current players finish their NC State career.

Will be mildly and happily surprised with a Wolfpack victory.

Not expecting a good performance from State, and Manning has Wake playing well and ahead of schedule.

Can’t read a football post without seeing a comment chiding those who expressed doubt of DD.

    What an f’n joke.

YOU did more than ‘doubt’. You bashed and ripped, incessantly, the coach, the staff, and the players. In spite of those with knowledge and experience, those with playing and coaching backgrounds saying otherwise, you bashed… and bashed… and bashed. YOU knew better, YOU were the all seeing genius. It became a broken, bitter record with you. Every opportunity you saw or imagined, you took it to bash.

CD, myself, and others not only did not share your bitter opinion, we not only backed the coach, but we said we were fortunate to have him. We saw what he was doing; we were IMPRESSED. All the while you bitched, and bitched, and bitched.

You’ve earned all the ‘chiding’ you’ve received, and all that you still have coming.

He had a horrible first year

No, he did not. And you were told so. Repeatedly. But you didn’t want to hear it. You were happy wallering in your bitterness. The TEAM had a horrible season, per W’s and L’s. But the COACHES, and the program to a lesser extent, had a decent to good year, all things considered.

    It’s a push so far.

    So far from it.

You should’ve just stood by your criticism, or backtracked and apologized. This weaseling BS is pathetic.

If you simply don’t have the knowledge to see, then have your opinion, and share it if you wish. But that’s not what you did.

In the future, I would suggest that when you have an uniformed opinion, you shouldn’t be so loud and conspicuous in expressing it. But if you do, at least have the cajones to own up to it.

But don’t worry, it’s basketball season. You have a current outlet for your bitter ripping of NC State athletics and athletes.

    Great news.

Losing Canada would’ve been a blow, a big blow. Much bigger than it appears most realize. For multiple reasons.

It’s over. The season is over. If you can’t beat CLEMSON in basketball at home, you’re done. Gott has lost this team.

I wouldn’t go that far. I have season tickets and was about to go to the game, but then thought… Given then last 2 games, I was kinda expecting a performance like we saw. I didn’t want to particularly waste my evening watching it. So I passed.

Like I referenced pregame, I suspected this team had some MOC in it.

But anyway, its a rollercoaster. This team still has several climbs and drops this season, the success of the season depends on the magnitude and duration.

Still a few big upsets left to be dealt BY the Pack. I suspect another late season spike too.

But about that tick mark… the high marks will keep you around for a while. Inconsistency will get you gone.

That stated, with Gott’s overall performance, he’s fine. For now. Besides, we’re not attracting a better overall coach anytime soon.

But with a few more tick marks, that won’t matter any more.

    Show us something, Coach.

That was ugly. Not just visually
ugly, but ugly ugly. Rosie O’Donnell ugly, but someone already mentioned something about a fat lady.

Debbie just made a tick mark. That’s one and counting, coach.

And how do I stop this damn “Join X State Fans, who get the best NC State info direct!” pop up box from continually appearing on my phone?

We’ve learned the Pack can play up to the competition (end results aside). Now we learn if this Pack has any MOC in it. Will they likewise play down to the competition?

I’ve shared the back story of the TOB, RW, and NC State ‘debacle’ on here a few times.

Some of the quotes from RW’s agent are practically verbatim from what I shared.

Perhaps those who questioned my word will now realize my information was not speculation.

We often disagree Rick, but that wasn’t directed towards you or almost all the regulars.

Mostly to the ones that only appear after a loss. Not to vent, but to rip the team, players, and/or coach.

    I heard a rumor.

I heard other teams have scholarships, paid coaches, and even run plays too. WTF?

Is that true? if so, how come other teams are allowed to do that?

Shouldn’t we be the only ones who are allowed to run plays that work? Shouldn’t we be the only ones allowed to win games?

I know some of you think our 17-23 amatuer athletes arrive on campus as perfect players, incapable of making mistakes, but that’s not quite how it is.

Maybe we should employ some good old fashion Spartan judgement and leave the imperfect players out in the elements to die.

They deserve it, obviously, for falling to placate a certain element of their ‘fan’ base whose lives must be so vacant and unfulfilling that they feel an incessant need to attack and ridicule amateur athletes for failing to reach their perverse hypothetical nirvanic level of performance perfection.
