TheCOWDOGModerator
Jitters usually reserved for Unx.
TheCOWDOGModeratorI hear ya Chops.
There are bunch of ex’s feeling the same.
In fact, sittin’ on the deck as the weather gets nippier, just to grip it.
TheCOWDOGModeratorWell done, Chops.
Right now, all I can think of is chowder and how awful it would be for State to base 42. Gimme mo’ Pratt with the usuall suspects. He’s a safety in Wolves clothing, anyway.TheCOWDOGModeratorSure they miss Dayes…When Hines ain’t around. Schools like State, even with really decent back-ups, can only match up so much to the “perennially” loaded.
We will find out about all of this as the season begins to close, beginning this weekend.
TheCOWDOGModeratorWhat about punt returns. The claim is that it has been a consistant problem under this staff, as has been the place kickers. 2.75 seasons worth of inconsistency with the place kicking, I grant. Coverage has not been an issue until this season…And would have looked a whole lot better had our gunners broken down, Saturday…Like they are coached to do.
I have a slight issue with the Pack 42 D this year. Reason? No Josh Jones to aid inside gap support, pure and simple. He is sorely missed back there.
TheCOWDOGModeratorI am on the way home after spending all day and half the night with former teammies, and some that played before us. All smiles in between the damns and sh*ts.
TheCOWDOGModeratorThe best way to get them back in the seats is clearly a competitive home schedule, year after year, and a product to match. Simple as that…And misters for September.
…Or at least a cold beer.
TheCOWDOGModeratorHines, (just call me “Lug Nut”) will play. No word on Jones. This is a truncated parable, assisted with pictogram moral of story, Yogi.
…And yes, Mac. I felt all but Pratt played poorly behind the DL.TheCOWDOGModeratorThat segment would have been better off if they’d passed the bong around. The beers did not cut it.
10/31/2017 at 7:57 AM in reply to: Emmert Says Holes were Guilty and Calls for Reforms to Keep Doors Opento keep… #125748TheCOWDOGModeratorI tried Bill…can’t get it to take…
Emmert’s full of s#it.TheCOWDOGModeratorPratt played well, since we’re not naming names.
Shi”y plane ride home. Coaches feeling worse than players…They should…12 hours worth.
TheCOWDOGModeratorShoes, the 46 is what the doctor might order.
TheCOWDOGModeratorNo question that our receivers are getting mugged, gotta play through. Balls up and run the damned ball between the tackles with Gillespie.
TheCOWDOGModeratorI gotta hit somebody.
TheCOWDOGModerator“CowDog, or however you pronounce it, as one who spent a brief part of his youth also on the banks of, or in, Canadaway Creek and ended up wearing the red and white of NC State, I think you made the right decision.”
I am so chagrined to have missed the Canadaway Creek reference. I just got trolled by a homie?
TheCOWDOGModeratorCan’t help but note that the engine has gotten larger and it’s pullin’ some cars…
Yes!
So you played football and baseball for the Pack? I guess I probably read that somewhere Mr. Dog but forgot it along the way. You’re the original Russell Wilson!
State has a deep and rich history of 2 sporters.
Look for the LB core to play well this Saturday. I have noticed Pratt’s development in particular.
TheCOWDOGModeratorRye, it’s Doeren’s influence on the D. Drink’s free will within Doeron’s….conceptual frame.
I have to believe the redzone plays have not yet been revealed in its entirety, although I’ve seen some pretty nifty s**t down there. One must always remember that there are professionally astute D coordinators on the other side of the ball, too.
TheCOWDOGModeratorLookie! My buddy ‘foose.
I’ve made some Gladys-like efforts to get Wuf and Beej back, but…
Just the same, they’re doin’ just fine.TheCOWDOGModeratorI know this much. Our corners must step up to keep this thing going. This week would be a very good time to work Bambard back into the fieldgoal game, too. The Irish are not a factor in league play, so if there is half’a mind to revisit…now is the time.
TheCOWDOGModeratorNever eat raw onions before bed.
TheCOWDOGModeratorYa know sumpthin’? Regardless of yesterday’s abominable NCAAsses pronouncements, I awoke this morning with no greater despise for Unx, than normal.
Guess as long as I am lucky enough to greet sunrises, it shall be so.
10/14/2017 at 8:22 PM in reply to: What Did Columbus Actually Say When Approaching Pittsburgh? #125249TheCOWDOGModeratorFor real, Mater Man? That’s Moose Skowron.
….Not to belabor a point, but I caught Mark Thomas’ post game take. He used the word “belief” in relationship to the Pack within themselves and system, approximately 3 times over what I have over the past couple years. And I’ve used it so much that it’s caused screen burn.
10/14/2017 at 3:22 PM in reply to: What Did Columbus Actually Say When Approaching Pittsburgh? #125228TheCOWDOGModeratorThe fleet remains intact…Marlin and Jim survive to give us another episode where we’ll see them on the lookout for the elusive Leprechauns, two weeks from today.
10/14/2017 at 1:48 PM in reply to: What Did Columbus Actually Say When Approaching Pittsburgh? #125154TheCOWDOGModerator“Marlin? Marlin?! Get your ass outta the truck right now! And bring the damn rifle!”
10/14/2017 at 12:26 PM in reply to: What Did Columbus Actually Say When Approaching Pittsburgh? #125111TheCOWDOGModeratorOh Capitan. The winds are gone.
