ParticipantI’ll offer a few thoughts..
#1) TV Teddy with the technical on Dorn was outrageous.
#2) I personally thought that NO questionable calls went our way last night, while most questionable calls went the way of the Yellow Jackets. Announcer even mentioned something idiotic about refs didn’t call an “optional” foul for over the back on them. That was so ridiculous when he said that. Over the back is a foul. Nothing optional about it.
#3) My most important point.. do NOT forget who runs this conference. The same guy who graduated from UNC and asked how recruiting would be affected when he found out UNC was being investigated. And do NOT forget what was on the line. We had a very real possibility of finishing ahead of UNC in the ACC standings with a win last night and a win against the Ville.Corruption within the NCAA (and everywhere else) exists, and is rampant in some places, folks. Why would any logical person think the wheels couldn’t be greased at the higher levels?

ParticipantRPI appears to be way too heavily weighted against OOC SOS. Assuming your RPI summary table in the post above is correct, you’ll see that we’re a full 10 spots below Louisville in RPI ranking, but looking at everything else EXCEPT OOC SOS and it would seems we should be 10-20 spots ahead of them.
Wins against top 25 we blow them to smithereens. To me that seems vastly more important than who you played in November.

Participantwell, we keep winning. I’m staying happy! Gnight, yall!

ParticipantSam just sniping folks out there

Participanthere’s an offensive scheme I came up with.. just let Sam jack 3 pointers up
TheAliasTroll
Participantthat Sam Hunt fella is nice to have around, ain’t he?
TheAliasTroll
ParticipantY7 loves fouling them 3 point shooters.. we’re up by 20 and all it seems there’s still alot that can be improved upon. If we can do better at rebounding and learn to take a charge/stop the dribble drive we’d really be a force to reckon with.

ParticipantI wouldn’t give Keatts any credit if I was you.
Well if you were me then I’d be you and I’d use your body to build a 40 foot Keatts statue
TheAliasTroll
Participantby golly can’t tell if the team is improving or if we’ve happened to catch teams at the right time while they are having off nights
TheAliasTroll
ParticipantThese refs are a bunch wackadoodles
TheAliasTroll
ParticipantYeah it’s been nice and cozy around here. Planted some grass seed yesterday.. hopefully it wasn’t too early.. time will tell. Should be a good game tonight.
TheAliasTroll
ParticipantSwoff will ensure we get the death penalty for this. Might as well pack it up and go home folks. Shutdown the site.

ParticipantRoad Teams are 4-0 today in the ACC…
What’s the line on the Holes v. Da’Ville tonight…
Cheaters v. Cheaters….
Cheats (of the blue shade persuasion) by a point is Vegas’s take. Legacies built on decades of unpunished cheating. Disgusting.
And 100% agree.. any kind of win today on the road is impressive. And a second string of back to back road wins in the ACC by this team is incredibly impressive. I bet that hasn’t been accomplished in a while.
And to think.. I’d almost thrown in the towel on this team (as far as tourney time goes) after the loss to the Frauds last week.

ParticipantY7 is better than last year, but he is soft and he is slow.
TheAliasTroll
ParticipantWell, here’s a first.. Allerik hasn’t pissed me off once today. No jinx.
TheAliasTroll
Participanti see these ticky tack foul calls won’t be going our way down the stretch
TheAliasTroll
ParticipantWhy can’t this team stop the penetration drive for an easy basket? Game after game we allow a layup clinic.
It’s like the Red Sea parting for Moses.
TheAliasTroll
Participantokay.. can we all agree we’ve seen enough Abu for the day?
TheAliasTroll
Participant^what was the argument last year, Lo Brown or Cat was 20X better than DSJ. I can’t remember.
lol yes I had forgot about that..
just totally “lose your mind” kind of stuff flying around on message boards in a season like we had last year
TheAliasTroll
ParticipantYes DSJ is rocking it in Dallas.
He’s no Russell Westbrook, but he’s holding his own on a crappy, talent-less team in his rookie season. A lot of folks here on this very board exactly one year ago predicting for him to be in the development league or riding the pine.
TheAliasTroll
ParticipantDSJ in the dunk contest tonight. Nice.
He seems to be doing pretty good in the NBA.
Shooting about 33%
Well.. that’s not true.
