I cannot wait until the season starts.. will be hard to repeat for our Cubbies, but I’m just looking forward to something NOT basketball. What a travesty of a season. I’m ready to hear the POP of the catchers mitt for several months. It’s therapeutic.

Just throwing out a potential C-list candidate. Dan Muller, HC at Illinois State earning base salary $400k. Defensive coach (16th adjusted defense according to Kenpom). He’s young, 41, been a HC for four years and has Illinois State turned around sitting at 15-1 in MVC and 23-5 overall this season. No ties to NC State that I know of, but we could surely get him to come if his current salary info I have is accurate.

I can’t believe his wife tweeted a picture of her doing the Wolfpack hand sign yesterday. She went here though, right? So of course she’s a fan, but I imagine that will be deleted in short order. Can’t believe Arch would be cool with having that out in the social media-sphere considering the situation.
He was talking about Marshall ending up at UNC or Duke, not Arch. At least that’s the way I read it.

I’m buying the hype and drinking the Koolaid. We should finish in the top 3 in the ACC. I predict only 3 to 5 ACC losses. Should finish in the top ten nationally by end of regular season.

9-0 dayton run, immediately after my last post
Archie’s Dayton down 23-11 to the Bonnies at the moemnt with 9 min to go in 1st half. First I’ve seen them play this year. It is ugly. Hmmm… chalk it up to to an anomaly? Maybe a team and coach that is “distracted”?
