TheAliasTrollParticipant
I spoke to a fella cleaning out Port’a’jons last night. While he was shoveling sh!t it just so happens that I saw the name tag on his uniform. One “W. Murphy”
Incredible I thought! We obviously struck up a good ole fashioned basketball convo where he confided in me that we’re bringing the wise Herb Sendek back for round #2. Paper work is all but completed.. we’re just waiting for a time to announce. Presser probably on Monday afternoon.
Also told me it’s a good idea to check my feet and wash my shoes before entering any buildings.
Here’s a picture I took for proof.
TheAliasTrollParticipantInteresting thoughts there, Nuke. Hmm… Nuke rhymes with puke. Okay, have a good one.
TheAliasTrollParticipantIf administration or boosters balk at the price – they have to buy out Gottfried, after all, and pay Marshall’s Wichita State buyout – respond with three words.
“Are we elite?”
Then three more.
“Hire Gregg Marshall.”
Here’s another experiment. Pretend you’re a Carolina or Duke fan. Who’s the one guy you don’t want NC State to get? They’d never admit it, but Marshall would strike fear in the hearts of blue bloods as soon as he arrived on campus to interview.
TheAliasTrollParticipantfVck yeah!!!!
TheAliasTrollParticipantHoping for Archie to return, even though that appears unlikely.
Why do you say that? Where is this “sources are saying Archie thinks NC State has mud butt” coming from?
TheAliasTrollParticipantWell, I don’t know about yall, but I’m optimistic after reading that.
TheAliasTrollParticipantCome doused in mud. Soaked in bleach. As I want you to be.
TheAliasTrollParticipantBut the raw skill is so much I can’t imagine he doesn’t still go lottery, though admittedly I know as much about the NBA as I do The Bachelor.
I sh!t you not, they got Bachelor Fantasy leagues now. How sweet is that?
Wife makes me watch every season.. talk about a “progressive” show.
TheAliasTrollParticipantDidnt watch.
Don’t care.
My goodness, I’ve overdone it with the crushed red pepper tonight.
McCallum
We all know you didn’t watch, Mick. You were too busy taking estrogen supplements and shaving your balls.
lmao love you, bro!
TheAliasTrollParticipantLSU job opens up.
TheAliasTrollParticipanthaven’t been following, but are you guys still chatting about penises in girls bathrooms?
TheAliasTrollParticipantYeah the Rockets have likely spoiled you.
I still haven’t seen DSJ level effort in the NBA.
Honestly, I don’t understand what that means. Are you saying DSJ doesn’t play with enough effort to be successful in the NBA? The entirety of our program this season was designed around him being the focal point. He played at a break neck pace practically every game. I’m not gonna dump on the kid for the coach not giving him a tighter leash or attempting to instill discipline and help him improve his basketball IQ.
I’ll agree he didn’t get better and correct mistakes over the course of this season. But nobody else on the team did either. Who’s fault is that?
I’ll also agree that his defensive ability was lacking, but again who the heck on the team can you not say that about?
Does the fault fall on the players or coaches in these situations? I think it lands squarely on Gott.
If DSJ lands in capable hands in the NBA he’ll be a force.
TheAliasTrollParticipantI have seen his attitude all year. At times he has played hard but in my opinion its been all about him all year.
We’ve been over this. That was the GAME PLAN drawn up by the coach. To have this be the DSJ show. Just like it was the TJ Warren show. He was following the game plan. That doesn’t translate into having a bad attitude. Where do you guys come up with this stuff? This is the first I’m hearing that DSJ had a crappy attitude and didn’t give any effort.
TheAliasTrollParticipantThe lack of effort on the part of DSJ is what would cause me to have MAJOR reservations about drafting him, especially with a top 5-10 pick. Those guys have to lead by example and I have not seen anybody with DSJ’s level of effort take the floor this year in the NBA, much less be a starter.
Couple of things.
#1 I haven’t seen any evidence of a “lack of effort” on the part of DSJ. The kid averaged 35 minutes a game and played full throttle every minute that I’ve been watching. If you want to project that the kid has some kind of an attitude problem and plays when he he feels like playing (ala Randy Moss) then that’s your opinion that you’re entitled to. I don’t see that at all.
#2 You must not watch much NBA. Have you seen the Knicks play defense this year? You watch any Nets games? You think the Kings are balling out, do you? Those guys are out there playing 82 games a season and traveling all across the country every other day, so it’s no surprise you’ll see NBA teams “taking a day off” when there’s in fact a game on the schedule. Some teams do it much more frequently than others.
TheAliasTrollParticipantYes he had Lutz and yes he had more experience but if I am an NBA GM I am looking for guys who play a team game especially from the PG slot.
lmao okay bud. That’s great. However, to be frank, taking Lo Brown over DSJ right now to build an NBA team around would be retarded.
TheAliasTrollParticipantGuess Lo Brown’s been busy making his team in China so much better the past 4 years. Heck he’s been so spectacular that a few days ago he got picked up by a .500 NBA development league team, Grand Rapids Drive.
TheAliasTrollParticipantNo, I want a guy who makes the players around him better. I said he has athleticism but it’s time to learn the game. But frankly, I see the attitude and the lack of court sense and I would not want him on my team until he learns the game and makes others better. Not denying the talent but talent alone does not cut it and our season is proof of that.
Do you know the difference between DSJ and Lo Brown in his junior year?
#1) One has 2 more years of college experience
#2) and was coached by Bobby LutzTheAliasTrollParticipantThis dude would rather have a development league PG vs taking an 18 year old playing, for all intents and purposes, without a coach in his freshman year of college and still managing to be in top 5 in ppg and #1 in the conference in assists per game in the conference. Good luck! Do you have a fantasy NBA league you play in? Can I get in that?
TheAliasTrollParticipantDSJ has athletic ability but no court awareness or ability to play team ball. If I were an NBA scout, I am not jumping up and down with excitement and certainly not a lottery pick in my opinion. Give me Lo Brown all day.
lol I’m sure you have a bright future as an NBA GM
TheAliasTrollParticipantThis game is a hot fresh turd.
TheAliasTrollParticipantNo. I’m not taking any bets today.
I think this is truly sad allowing Clemson to create a highlight reel in the first game that truly matters in several weeks. These kids haven’t been given the tools to succeed.
TheAliasTrollParticipantClemson is crap. We may not turn the corner today & still beat them. I revise my prediction of the “corner turning” to tomorrow midway thru the 1st half against Dookie.
TheAliasTrollParticipantThis is the game we finally turn the corner… looking like it will happen sometime in the 2nd half though
TheAliasTrollParticipant@Wolfanatic – YES!!! That’s the spirit!! lol
TheAliasTrollParticipantClemson is so terrible.. perfect game to get our motors running to start this epic win streak
