Problem with Marshall is that he may not be available for quite some time.
They’ll beat Dayton, and Kenpom shows Kentucky as a 1 point favorite on a neutral court against the Shockers. So basically a coin flip. If it lands heads and they get past Kentucky they’ll be playing for at least another week against beatable competition.
Good read about Wichita St. getting hosed. If GM’s drive is to be the best and ensure the least resistant path to obtaining some trophy hardware, then it’s obvious that it’s not ideal to be coaching in the wheat fields. Yup.. i could have swore I seen him step his foot in bounds and pull it back before passing the ball.. they never showed a replay and announcers didn’t even mention it. I was admittedly a few beers deep at that point though.
Was it just me or did anyone see the Duke player in bounding the ball in the last minute with the score tied step over the line in bounds whilst still holding the ball (i.e. committing a turnover) and not get called? I swear I saw it but never a mention or complaint about it.
Ummm so yeah.. jury definitely still out on Avery at Bama. They had a good game today not losing by double digits to Kentucky, but didn’t Gott have a good game at Cameron this year too? I’ll put it this way, I hope we do MUCH better than Avery in our search.
