Can we all unite against the light blue turds down the road this afternoon? If they get past Kentucky today they’ll be playing for a championship again.. Pac 10 ain’t sh!t. I can’t be dealing with all that right now.
One thing I haven’t seen mentioned is how the ACC refs will “interpret” KK’s style of play. Pressure defense attack style by an NC State team sounds like “foul out city” to me.

Again, Miller family can SUCK it. That’s completely unnecessary and tacky thing to put out there.
The problem is EVEN If Kevin Keatts does turn out to be a hall of fame coach we’ll be a stepping stone for him. If he manages to get us to an elite 8 he’s out of here. You get what you pay for and it is abundantly clear we’re unwilling/unable to dish out the cash. I personally don’t think this will ever be an issue, but if it comes to that you guys mark this post down.
I had the false hope that Archie really wanted to be here. He was our best shot at possibly obtaining a HOF caliber coach AND keeping him around for a long time (again, based on the assumption that this was where he REALLY wanted to be).
Oh well, we move forward with the guy that did want to be here.
There’s no other CAA coaches that don’t won’t to be here. That’s an important thing to keep in mind as we begin our KK journey.
Except the one that hired dominated the others we didn’t.
We’ve got different standards for the word “dominate”, although I’m genuinely glad you’re so chipper. This is a fine example of “Ignorance is bliss”.

I’ll try to explain it… it’s because we are cheap.
All of that collectively establishes a pecking order. State is not able to compete with IU on many of the items I listed. Case closed.
Case opened back up. Archie is an NC State alum. We decided better to take a big gamble than a little gamble and didn’t pay the man. It’s not hard to connect the dots, judge.

Huh? Did anyone in their right mind think we were equivalent to or higher than Indiana in the pecking order? IU is a top 10 all time MBB program. Some would say top 5.
I did with respect to Archie Miller. Did you forget he played here? I don’t see anything far fetched about it. I bet if we were able to offer as much as Indiana (and his bro wasn’t being a dick) he’d be our new coach.
I’m seeing a problem developing here… if Keatts is all that and a bag of Sun Chips, like some of yall are prognosticating, he probably won’t be here long.
I’m seeing he’s getting $4M/yr for 7 yrs with his new contract. I’m totally guessing we offered $3M/yr 6 year deal.

Yeah, Indiana is a harder job than NC State, especially when you consider he’d have more leash here being an alum.
Reasons we missed on him:
#1) Money (probably.. will have to see)

Nope, you are correct, they seem to have an easy path every year. Duke deserved that #1 seed more than the Holes in my opinion if you look at their respective resumes. It is what it is I guess.

I like Deb a lot.. she’s not perfect, like any human being, but I don’t think you can question she’s got the NC State win column as her top priority.
I’ll say this.. I like KeaTTs a lot better after the press conference earlier this afternoon. We’ll see if his talk translates to on the court.
