Well we made it.. opening day/night.. finally! Will be thrilled to put this travesty of a basketball season to rest.
Landing Batts was a surprise, right? I’ll take it.
Amazing Roy won last night. They had 3 times outs left in the last minute and change. Instead of burning one, Jackson throws the ball into the stands as he’s double teamed (or was he triple teamed?). Instead of burning one to set up an inbound play with 6 seconds left, Roy lets em play and they inbound the ball to worst free throw shooter Meeks (who missed both). And still come away with a damn win. Horse shoes up their asses.
Zags are the last hope. I’m not confident.

We just hired a CAA/High school coach
It’s not a lecture, it’s fact. No one on here can even budge the needle to get their voice heard about the coaching hire (that’s a reference to how audio was once measured for the uninformed). The powers that be aren’t going listen to some who is a keymaster on a web discussion board. While DY can and does answer emails from concerned fans at the end of the day someone with the moniker of TheAliasTroll may as well live on Mars, your narrative is NOT going to make a hill of beans to the administration of NC State. If your name happens to end in Murphy and you have a ton of bucks then they listen. Money talks, BS walks. Thems the rules. You don’t control their pay you don’t control their ear, EVER! So, little does it matter what any opinion on here is, it’s just noise, and far below the threshold to be heard.
No clue what that means or why that was directed towards me. I’m just pointing out a FACT that we just hired a CAA/High School coach. Meanwhile our rivals down the street are about to hang another banner. Never once mentioned I was running for NC State president or anything.. at least not that I recall.

Archie Miller, a proven successful A10 coach, goes to Indiana for 4 million/7 yr contract
Kevin Keatts, a 3 year CAA coach (slipping past the likes of Towson and James Madison), comes to NC State for 2.2 mil/6 year contract..
Now you says we’re the top destination, and not possible to move up from our job… I’m just a little bit confused.

That first sentence completely false. If he wins here then he can leave for different challenge but not a step up. If that happens our job is that more attractive.

But to be sure, my comment above was about the swofford led ACC refs.. of all the coaches, Lowe would have won us an ACC championship in his first year with referees from any other conference. I’m not optimistic Keatts is going to get the benefit of the doubt from a ref perspective in meaningful ACC games. Sorry for my doom and gloom opinion, but this ain’t my first rodeo.
In order to buy into him referencing Yow, one would have to buy into a notion that Yow does not have a coach’s back…You see, that would fly in the face to the most common criticism of her.
IE: High pay and extended contracts, riding the same horse too long.

you guys are trying to get to the bottom of nothing.. it was just the case of a Miller being an a$$hole.
If your point is we get called for a lot of fouls because refs are biased against us, I didn’t miss it.
We get called for a lot of fouls because we blow at playing defense.
Refs haven’t been an issue in the last two years because we’ve been getting handled.
If your memory spans 2 years of NC State basketball then your in for a surprise IF KK’s new style shows hints of being successful.
Whatever it was it was inappropriate to make that comment to the media. Real scummy thing to do.
Why don’t we just start by bending our knees and getting into a defensive stance and stop being grabby as fsck and see where that gets us.
Or we could just take the team off the floor when we don’t have possession.
