We probably just assumed they’d be distracted because it’s their senior day. Woah is me.
Hopefully the distraction of Senior Day will start to affect the Wake Forest offense soon.
What is the deal with all the penalties we’re committing. It almost looks as if it’s our Distracting Senior Day Disadvantage instead of WF’s. But it’s not our senior day. Weird.
Is it just me or does anyone else have to restart their WatchESPN app every 10 minutes or so? Must be ESPN’s senior day or something.
Good thing we are getting to play them on their senior day when they’re clearly totally distracted by it.. like making an impossible putt or something.. or we’d probably be down by 21 already.

^Why is that Troll? No, I won’t ask for data to support your belief, but just truly curious why you believe that. To me, that is just bookmakers reacting to the betting.
It’s called reverse line movement. You can google the term to understand it’s significance.
Line moved all the way to significant WF -3 with 60% public on NC State. Typically does not bode well.

You’ll find days that teams don’t win on their senior day. I can also point to a few days in October of 2008 when the stock market went up. That doesn’t mean you made money in October of 2008 though.
Senior day didn’t help BC and I doubt it will help WF. More likely a distraction. Likewise playing for a bigger bowl. It’s like golf. The bigger the putt, the less help that is. Focusing on the task at hand is what makes a difference.

Amen Bill! Look at the job Keatts did at UNCW after Buzz Peterson. Buzz was the absolute worst and Keatts won the conference in 2 years. All of you doubters and troll lovers will be shocked, shocked.
1) The ACC is a giant leap above the Colonial Athletic Association.
2) Every coach in the ACC is a much better coach than Buzz Peterson. Every last one of them.My money will be on WF, but my heart will be with the Pack.

I was not a big fan of that but it looks like we are back there. If you have the shooters it can be a viable plan but there can be wild variances with it.I’m not a fan of it either due to that variance you mention.
When you have a need to win several consecutive games to bring home hardware and you combine that with variance… well.. it certainly creates long shot odds.
I didn’t need to see anything to reach that conclusion…Too many losses from a bad team combined with no superstars coming in.
True and we’ll find out a lot more about this team in a few days. But the writing is on the proverbial wall for this season.
In ACC play we’ll be getting rolled if we aren’t making 3 balls at a regular clip. We only shot 7% (1 for 13) from 3 against the mighty Blue Hose. 16% (3 of 18) the game before against power house Bryant.
KK has said it himself, in his offense he likes to take a lot of three pointers. Does this team have even one single reliable 3 point shooter?

Tete fouling out for the Blue Professional Hoes and their overall foul trouble in the 2nd half has worked out pretty well for us. The Royal Blue Prostitutes are still within striking distance.
I’m gonna guess we won’t see a lot of slurping of the KK knob for at least a few days. From what I’m seeing we’ll be bottom 25% of the ACC this year. We definitely will be needing different personnel to run this system.
I haven’t seen any posters ripping KK or the team across pack websites. Everyone seems positive and taking a wait and see attitude.

Big picture this is likely just a blip, but against Blue Frigging Ho Ho Hoes is kinda bad.
3 games into the season and we haven’t been in a game that felt like a nail-biter. Sad to say, but I too feel like that is a small step forward.

The QB who was knocked out of the game, a freshman, played a quarter and a half without BC scoring. BC scored almost as soon as his replacement, a senior, entered the game.
Only in your imagination did we need help with the win.
