Now that my second favorite team in the tournament has won, I no longer have a second favorite team to root for.
My second favorite team is whoever is playing UNC.
Today is the deadline to re-up with the Wolfpack Club for football priority…did it today-Go Pack!

The Pitt game showed our capabilities
Yeah, when the opponent shoots 25% in the first half. I think that the GT game is more representative of the team’s capabilities.
Coupled with all of the other losses. A pattern has emerged and Pitt is definitely the outlier.
I think that the team that wins the Super Bowl will be the team whose offensive line can protect their quarterback the best.
The thing that killed us on the FG attempt right before giving the ball back to Clemson to get the two big pass plays was the play coming out of the timeout on 3rd down. Instead of gaining some yards to make it close on the 4th down play we lost like 6 or 7 yards and were really forced into the field goal try.
I actually commented to guys in the stands that Maples must be really bad if he hasn’t been given a look yet…
We are really missing Bo. The first receiver we’ve had in a while that could really run routes and get open consistently. He was the best 3rd down receiver we’ve had since Jericho.
Pitino has only lost in the Sweet 16 once. We had a fighting chance until the last 5 minutes of the game. Nerves took over and we lost. I have to say that this definitely exceeded expectations this year.
I knew it was over when Cat got shoved to the ground down 5 and Rozier got the and 1 at the other end. The game was too physical for us to win
I think calling a pass play was the right call on second down. NE was stacking up against the run and you still had 3rd and potentially 4th down to try to punch it in. I just think the particular pass that they called was a terrible decision.
Anyone who thinks we would have hit two free throws on a 1-1 is smoking crack. I guarantee that we miss the front end and have the same result
Ok, I forgot about the long pass turnover when we were up two. At that point, we had our best free throw shooters in. Why didn’t Gott sub one of the out for a rebounder when the ball went out of bounds? That’s why we couldn’t get a rebound to seal the win. You have to sub offense for defense.
Why do people keep harping about the long inbounds pass and hitting free throws. It was tied at that point. ND was not going to foul us.
So here’s my beef with Gottfried. With Barber on the line knowing you have to foul after the free throws, why is Turner on the floor????!!!?!!
Everyone knows you sub him out for Des and then sub him back in when UNC is on the line.
