ParticipantThought for sure Al would take that 1 on 2 opportunity. Good first four minutes of the second half

Missing the front end of two 1 and 1 opportunities helped them stay in it.

ParticipantDSJ in the dunk contest tonight. Nice.
He seems to be doing pretty good in the NBA.
Shooting about 33%
Well.. that’s not true.
By bad 32% from 3 and 39% overall. He had a good game against the Rockets this past week

ParticipantSam Hunt is smooth enough to be confused with Sam Cooke.

ParticipantCan’t find video so listening today. The foul situation seems reasonable, what’s the gameplay look like?
Wake is struggling to handle our pressure. We are getting pretty good shots and rebounding well on both ends

ParticipantI’m about 90 seconds behind the live action but it’s been worth waiting for so far.

ParticipantI think the game plan is to press them today

ParticipantNotre Dame/BC on the tube in the ATL so it’s off to ESPN3 for me. Who makes these decisions??
The blackout rules have never and will never be made public. I don’t understand the reason for streaming if you black it out opposite a split broadcast.

ParticipantESPN3 today. It’s frequently fugly.

ParticipantI have really low expectations for us on the road. (An optimist is never pleasantly surprised)

ParticipantI think the quadrant system is designed to encourage power conference teams to go on the road against mid majors. The old argument was that these games were no win situations for the power conference teams. Not many mid majors finish in the RPI top 25 but there are plenty in the top 75. This is a well thought out approach. I’d personally like to see UH get some big name non conference games at home just so I can go watch.

ParticipantState tied in regulation at Chapel Hill and late at Cuse, and they come out with a win both times. I know there’s plenty to work on, but that speaks volumes to me.
Yep, and we’re doing it without some lights out shooter or great FT shooter that can just ice a game away. We’re doing it as a function of a team effort.
Markell made a cold blooded three in both of those games at crunch time even though he’s not Scott Wood or Ralston Turner from beyond the arc. He has some swagger

ParticipantWell Tex, we’ve won a lot more on the road this year in the league than any I can remember recently and that’s with a rag-tag group of grad transfers etc. But to your point, we don’t want to freak-up in Winston.
You are correct about the W’s. The first half performance against Pitt haunts me because we would have lost that game to anybody else besides Pitt. I have that one as a W* in my mind.
Texpack
ParticipantWe have played consistently enough at home that I wouldn’t write off any of the home games. Our road efforts have been uneven. A win at WFU on Saturday would give us a little breathing room. That’s the only game I’m concerned about right now.

ParticipantRemember Terry Holland’s enforcer?
Dan Bonner ?
POP!!!

ParticipantHunt saved our bacon…
Earned a second year of grad school tonight.
I didn’t give us more than a 10% chance tonight. We still have a lot of work to do to get in the tournament but we are a lot closer than we were at 9pm est tonight.

ParticipantTwo scoops tonight baby!

ParticipantThat’s ok we got this
Don’t be so sure just yet.
