Warren is just a tad off tonight. The transition surge for X is just us missing easy shots.

    That was a bad call.

What is he supposed to do

Agre. The only contact was created by the shooter sticking out his arm.

He already knows how to cheat recruit in the SEC. He will do well.

How many TA&M, or Texas fans gonna watch One SMU basketball game…
( compared to how many Dookies and TarHoles will watch most ALL of our games )…

The real question is how many A&M or Texas fans are gonna watch an A&M or Texas basketball game? Unless you’ve lived here you have no clue. There will be a lot of people in Dallas who will drive by Jerry World during the Final Four and wonder what the Cowboys have going on to put so many cars in the parking lot.

As for the post, it confirmed my much less in depth analysis on Saturday that said none of the bubble teams were anybetter or worse than we were. We are lucky the committee wanted Anya on the 4 X 100 relay anchor leg.

One of Xavier’s bigs has an MCL and is 75%. That should help us on the boards.

UVa may not be the best team in the tournament, but they may be the toughest team to beat.

We were the only miss by the Dance Card. They had Cal in instead of us.

We even avoid playing on my personal bad luck day (Wednesday). Recipients of the very last bid.

Weird angle nobody has mentioned yet – we probably have our old 1983 friends Houston for this invite (beat SMU in the American quarters, with an RPI in 150s).

I mentioned it in the Bubble Talk thread. My youngest starts at UH in the Fall.

Xavier will be playing a home game essentially. That will be tough.

You can thank my son’s Coogs for the win over SMU.

SMU got the Seth Greenburg treatment.<br>
OOC SOS of 300+ is punished once again.

I just don’t understand after, what 4 or 5 years now?, that coaches still schedule such weak OOC games.

When you take over a crap program like SMU you need to post wins right away to help recruit. That’s why you do it. Brown might snag a few more kids as a result of the time in the Top 25.

Nebraska also sucks for us. Creighton got screwed with a second round game in San Antonio vs Baylor 60 miles from home.

    Can’t dim zero.

I maintain we have a better than 20% chance based on my conversation with Sister Maria this afternoon.

I just watched K’s post game comments on us and he made a good case. As long as SMU doesn’t get in ahead of us and we don’t have to listen to the Larry Brown crap I won’t be too upset. We had a stronger case two years ago for sure.

Dance Card has us three spots out. A Providence loss last night might might have gotten us in. The teams above us but out are SMU and Sou. Miss. The teams that are in that you could argue about are Iowa, BYU, Nebraska, and Cal.

I’ll put our odds at 26.6%. As a 12 seed we could beat the right 5 seed. That’s why the NCAA would be my first choice.

I really do feel like our biggest disadvantage in the whole thing was winning our biggest game late when it becomes a hassle to juggle the field.

When you start comparing bubble teams and making the case for them, it’s like trying to figure out which fat kid should be on the 4 X 100 relay team.

Other than conventional wisdom going into this weekend, we are as good as any of the last 4 in group but you can easily explain why we shouldn’t be in as well.

Win either the cheats game or the first Cuse game and we would be in comfortably. Win vs WFU and Mizzou and we would be in. Our season was an accurate representation of who we were, a team with a lot of flaws that at times could patch together stretches of above average play but could play like doodoo for just as long.

I still love the freshman bigs. With the way this staff helped Calvin and Howell I’m looking forward to those guys getting better. Cat even matured. You could see the difference between the game today and the game in Durham. The NIT experience will help the young guys
