Called a flagrant one foul on Dawkins on fast break after a ‘ cuse steal. It was a horrible call on a touch foul but ‘cuse got two shots and ball. Made last weeks foul on TJ look like premeditated murder. Wow!!!
Jobbed. ‘Cuse elevated to Blew status in first year. Warren won the game with breakaway and one that was taken away. Inexcusable. Still should have won, but as usual we threw the damn game away in the closing seconds. Signature win given away.
We snatched another defeat from the jaws of victory. Very frustrating. I do not understand why Cat went for the steal in the backcourt on the last Wake possession rather than staying in front of his man and helping the TEAM make the defensive stop to win the game. Better showing than UVA game–could not have been worse–but very disappointing result. We have not been able to close games for years at NCSU. All I can figure is that this must be a combination of confidence, coaching, and bball IQ.

The refs were terrible for both teams. The facts are we let an 18 point lead go and were outplayed in the second half. Missing crucial foul shots and returning to our typical 20 turnover total also helped.
The intentional foul call on Fells was absurd. He blocked the ball and fouled the guy with his body. I still cannot figure out why the refs did not eject GreenHerb after T-ing him up and then letting him repeatedly call at least one of them a f***ing a**hole several times.
