StateFansKeymaster
How is that heading into this weekend I was more committed to being in front of the television to watch the Seahawks than I was to watch the Wolfpack?
StateFansKeymasterGotta give him credit for doing what he does. I don’t think many people have an exceptionally high opinion of his overall coaching ability, but he has been delivering for them.
Dabo was a fraternity brother of one my close friends at Alabama. I doubt he ever leaves for any school other than the Crimson Tide. That $5 million buyout is designed to at least compensate them if that situation arises any time soon.

StateFansKeymasterIt is impossible to compare NCAA punishments today with their punishments of the past. The scale is grossly different by their own design.
After the punishments of NC State and Louisville and few others in the early 1990s they realized that their punishment in many cases were too harsh and they chose to back off the severity.
StateFansKeymasterHate to hear that about Crisp. Will try to check into it.
Glad to know that Linton has made it in! That’s going to be big for us
StateFansKeymasterI must admit that Jameis Winston sounds like he should be enrolled at UNC.
StateFansKeymasterCould you imagine Chuck Nevitt doing this?
StateFansKeymasterDarrell Dawkins
StateFansKeymasterFANTASTIC work!! Thanks so much for the post.
StateFansKeymasterWell…this was fun while it lasted.
This team has a LONG way to go
StateFansKeymasterAll sorts of craziness in college basketball today will do wild things to these ‘way to early NCAA Tournament projections’.
StateFansKeymasterNo arguments on the need for more appropriate stipends and expenses.
StateFansKeymasterI wonder if Roy will bring his BB gun?
StateFansKeymaster^ That’s an excellent point of distinction.
I guess I should say that it is unfair to choose to ignore the ‘compensation’ component of the equation.
StateFansKeymasterYou can click here for more preview and simulations of this evening’s match up.

StateFansKeymasterMoreso than most any other game we play in the league — this one will be decided by the officials.
Just look at the last two years — State has owned UVa with no problem in the ACC Tournament that usually brings a little more focused performance from the officials.
Yet, the regular season game against UVA brought AWFUL officiating. Roger Ayers in Raleigh 2 years ago was an abomination and last year was the year that the hurt Lorenzo Brown. For example, last year this was called a travel on State:
StateFansKeymasterCarolina/Roy need to be VERY CAREFUL about how they tread here. Have they learned NOTHING about how much they DON’T KNOW every single time one of these stories have broken over the last 4 or 5 years?
StateFansKeymasterYou can argue that players deserve to get paid ‘MORE’ than they get, but to IGNORE the benefits they do get is intellectually dishonest and just bad analysis.
But, what do you expect when a sports writer tries to play business person.
StateFansKeymasterGowolves, you did a super job posting your first topic. Your biggest mistake is that you aren’t posting MORE!! We need one or two new topics a day from you. That is your charge!!
StateFansKeymasterGood for him! I actually think that is about right, especially since 2 of our losses came when Vandenberg was out with an injury.
I heard Lunardi talking the other night after our win over Notre Dame and thought he was really missing the boat by not even having us in the discussion. Lunardi seems to do better and refine his list more accurately as the year goes on.
StateFansKeymasterHeck, TOB & Bible had at least 4 or 5 NFL starters through the years at Boston College.
StateFansKeymasterIf the one-and-done rule had any impact here then: (1) Carolina’s baseball program wouldn’t be as dirty as it is and (2) this stuff wouldn’t have been going on for at LEAST 20 years. And, that’s just the academic fraud ‘stuff’.
We all know the “Wheels for Heels” program has been going on longer than most of us have been alive.
StateFansKeymasterGo look at James Dean’s twitter account and you tell me if he is going to do anything other than stone wall and support the Athletics department. He’s a huge home and fan that has been in Chapel Hill forever.
StateFansKeymasterThey’ve lied to themselves for so many years that they don’t remotely know what truth is.
