PackofMacParticipant
tractor57 at this point yes zero, may be I should have said zero-minimal offensive ability. Anyway, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Choppack1, I’m not counting anyone out, I’m also not expecting much either. It’s all good!!
PackofMacParticipantWe have zero offensive talent (hell, or defensive) anywhere near the goal. No proven scorers on the perimeter other than Cat. Our perimeter defense is horrible, we likely won’t even see the NIT bubble. Hey, this is still far less painful to watch as opposed to previous years when we had talent yet struggled.
PackofMacParticipantWufpacker if I could sum up in a pic how I feel about my 2015 NC State season football ticket renewal decisions that’d be the pic.
PackofMacParticipantThe black pants we already have are far nicer than these and yes, the wolf logo on the shoes and gloves are too busy. I personally am glad we’ve added some style to our threads on game day. It however has done not one da*n thing for the win column. Just win, I still dry heave daily remembering the UNSux game, need a win to help forget.
PackofMacParticipantPapaJohn…as you have noticed and at the risk of criticizing a young man, Kirk is far from ACC caliber at this point. Believe me or not I have extensive knowledge of his high school career, he is an athlete and that’s it. Kirk should however grow into a contributing member of our squad given time. We have zero offensive talent down low, period. I for one had zero expectations coming into the season so the loses will not pain me, well, other than a stellar recruiting class in 2016-that expectation is now shot.
PackofMacParticipantoh yeah smart guys??? We’re down 20 to William and Mary. You really think Adidas gave us anything based upon how good or competitive our teams are??? No, it’s based upon marketing and ability to sell their product to the public. Anyway…we’re down f*cking 20 to William and Mary….it’s all good though. Things are really looking up.
PackofMacParticipantpakfanistan….we are???? You do know we wear red/white and play at carter finley right???? I guess across the entire athletic spectrum we are, maybe…whatever. Keep smiling!!!! I’m satisfied with 4th or worse every year in our own division as well! GO STATE
PackofMacParticipantBig time cash flow streaming in….more documentation to file away in the “why the hell aren’t we more competitive” file.
PackofMacParticipantWell, now I hate the Navy……(no)
PackofMacParticipanttfoose I completely agree with you, where we differ is I just want us to do what works best for us 85% of the time. Until a few receivers prove themselves and until Jacoby shows he can be a consistent passer I’d just like us to utilize the real threats we have. First four games of the season we prioritized the running game, L’Ville comes calling, we prioritize throwing the ball and just like Caitlyn, thought of ourselves as something we’re not. I love the big play long ball, I love Nyheim involved in the passing game, I just want to be stopped on the ground before we reinvent ourselves.
PackofMacParticipantPlease with all due respect, the only team that stopped us for three straight quarters was our team wearing red up in the booth. Absolutely no reason that I can imagine we go away from our running game when we tally 157 yards on the ground in the first quarter. What is more important, winning a game easily or ensuring our offensive production is balanced on the stat sheet?
It’s extremely hard to sustain or even start drives when we begin slinging the ball on first down when we don’t have the athletes to execute that style. Run the mo-fo ball
PackofMacParticipantAdvice…Should I or Shouldn’t I: Set up my NC State tent, NC State flag and pole right in the middle of the gold and blue parking lot or just lay low deflecting as much attention as possible around 3:45pm?
PackofMacParticipantFastback68, section 3..home side. Unsure of row or seat my man, always go with a Wake grad friend of mine but we’ve been going since we were kids. I do however know my exact tailgate location, first row of the blue lot right on the corner at the main rd. leading in and the road separating the blue from the gold lot. I was more taking a shot at the attendance of wake supporters than boasting our “great” fan base.
PackofMacParticipantApparently Fastback68 has never been to a game in Winston. During conference play the entire visitor side of the stadium is the color of the visiting team. At Wake you really only have to drown out ehh….maybe 500 people? That stadium will be red as it always f-ing is when we play at Wake so vagisil not needed or warranted for the NC State fan base. For some god forsaken reason we’ll be there.
PackofMacParticipantThere is doubt that I’ll be able to find any pathetic soul to buy the remainder of my season tickets on craig’s list.
PackofMacParticipantThe thing that still aches me about Saturday is the fact going forward that was an important game, a very winnable game and we dropped a turd. Now my level of optimism….which I never really experienced as a state fan has taken a drastic hit. I personally am not feeling good at all about coming back with a win after Friday night. Given our history in Winston and after seeing what transpired Saturday, not just the turnovers and missed tackles but the “wtf” offensive strategy, I will not at all be surprised for this team to be 4-3 when Clemson shows up. The boys are better than what they showed Saturday, we are better than Virginia Tech but we have to maintain our offensive schemes that made us successful the first four games. All things could be ok but starting 0-2 or 0-3 in the league this year…..lotta folks not gonna be happy.
PackofMacParticipantAs I previously stated I think the play calling was suspect at best, I do however like the thought of #7 streaking down field like ole’ Bo used to do…just have to put a good throw on the ball. I however like it on a a sec on and short after a positive running play. I was encouraged by the tailgate turnout…seemed pretty damn good considering the forecast but as someone else here stated……tons of empty seats. Overall still a good and very loyal crowd, I’m proud to be a part of that.
On a less productive thought, when my family is soaked from watching a poor performance I’d like the video guy to not show those go* da** videos telling the crowd to get up. I’d love to make a video of my own showing all of us telling the football team to wake the ____ up, or at least a good slap to the face of our OC with one of my wet socks.
PackofMacParticipantPlay calling today would’ve made Dana Bible proud…wait is he back??? What a perfect last play on such a crappy coached and played game….stopped on 4th and 1
PackofMacParticipantOf course I nor any of you have all the information, just hope Coach had enough info showing Shad to be a law violating inconsiderate person. That sounds silly I know but a police officer in my town struck (bumped) a child who was riding his bike here four months ago. The police officer left the scene without reporting, hours later the childs mom called every local news station and the officer was subsequently charged with leaving the scene. Of course, he’s facing termination until an internal investigation was done which consisted of watching a 4:30 second video from a banks security camera that showed the police officer spending nearly five minutes with the kid, helping him out appearing to offer his cell phone to him, then checking out his bicycle before exchanging a high five then leaving. Now yes, the cop did fail to report the accident…which by state law has to involve property damage over $1000 or injury, this case neither, yet still he gets the citation. However considering he did everything humanly right to help the kid he retained his job. Forgetting about past troubles, I hope this situation warranted his dismissal.
BTW, I conducted the above investigation so I am 100% aware of those facts.
09/19/2015 at 9:45 PM in reply to: Game Thread: Wolfpack Football vs Monarchs of Old Dominion #88979PackofMacParticipant35-0, go to a game. I get it smart asses, just saying it’d be nice to routinely beat teams of this caliber by more than 20 points.
09/19/2015 at 9:32 PM in reply to: Game Thread: Wolfpack Football vs Monarchs of Old Dominion #88967PackofMacParticipantI’m sorry, that was a little too harsh but damn….can we just once beat the hell out of one of these teams?????
09/19/2015 at 9:30 PM in reply to: Game Thread: Wolfpack Football vs Monarchs of Old Dominion #88963PackofMacParticipantNo matter what recruits, no matter which coach, no matter how much the wolf pack club donates NC STATE football will never put lesser teams away. ODU keep passing, the lanes are there, receivers are wide open.
PackofMacParticipantWe beat both these posers in Raleigh….guaranteed
PackofMacParticipantClempson wins…..no wait, Louisville loses by missing a field goal and horrible clock management and immediately after the game the talk goes straight to “look out for clemson in the playoff hunt”. Have these idiots never watched ClemPson football before????? NFL talent stacked ClemPson teams consistently manage to lose around three games a year, you can guarantee this squad loses three…but who am I. WIN IT ALL CLEMPSON!!!
PackofMacParticipantAnyone know or like our chances with Bam Adebeyo other than scout247’s predictions??? Getting his commitment would strongly suggest the major recruiting trail leaves duke and bypasses conservative hill straight to Raleigh.
