Coach sucks, we suck, the Martin twins couldn’t/won’t score 10 a game for High Point and Adbul Malik Abu honest to the good lord himself would not be a star at your local Y. This forum is a great place for us all to vent and conversate but until North Carolina State University realizes that we no have absolutely zero shot of marketing ourselves to the talent level of coach or athlete we need within this current structure of the ACC. I am now 100% convinced we need to pull a maryland and exit stage left. I used to roll my eyes and make fun of anyone who started that whole SEC conversation but damnit….it makes sense. I know it’ll never happen….
Fresh off me chastising my Wake fan friends for Danny Manning losing more than he recruits (I know ignorrant) this crap ball happens. Oh well, we, along with Wake are the laughing stock of the Atlantic Coast Conference basketball side of things.

chopp is 100% spot on. Reynolds should’ve been renovated….I’ll stop. What he said is all that needs to be said. Cameron Indoor Stadium is an absolute joke compared to when Reynolds was rocking which was nearly every home game. I thought the place was literally going to explode the NIT game against West Virginia. A renovated slightly larger on campus Reynolds is what the University, heritage, students and fans alike all deserved.
No matter the obvious results of tomorrows game (Ingram scores 57 and Allen makes 26 three’s) we did not lose to Wake. I say again, we AT LEAST did not lose to Wake. Thank you and good night.

Wow, really Gott??? Maybe Cat was banged bumped and held, it clearly did not affect him too terribly. With all the cluster f*cking that was going on down low I thought there were very few whistles as compared to when we play the blues, so few that I text friends saying how the officials now felt sorry for us and decided to pocket their whistles. Anyway, all this does is piss off Swofford and the rest of the Nazi regime officials just in time for them to make an example of us Saturday. awesome

Well, well, well damnit Rick you got me again. I COMPLETLEY agree, was just feeling not quite so pissed about the game as I usually would be. Of course you did point out the obvious.
Nothing about todays game had anything to do with Gott’s coaching abilities. We tried zone, man…none of it mattered because Grayson Allen is an absolute beast with the ball. The second half Duke showed us all how to execute against the zone with surgical precision. That’s not coaching, it’s 5 star athletes doing what they do. Anya’s hands are about as soft as the snow packed road I’m staring at. Duke shot almost 80% second half, we competed great to only lose by 10.
Pitt shot 18% first half, we shot better and were very active on the glass. Our offensive sets are still as they have always been. Interior passing is atrocious, and if not for Cat we may only score 30 points a game. On a year with no expectations I’m enjoying every win we can muster. I was able to watch the game, televised locally here in the triad area.
Kirk has less offensive capability than what you are seeing on the court now, defensively he’s horrible. Dunks, well dunks he can do. I somewhat agree with your stance on playing time however, I do think that comes down to the fact he’s probably worse than the walk on “white boy team” we have. Let em go if he wants

tfoose1 I’m glad you enjoyed my brilliant analysis, was just a reference to how DD appears and recruits compared to chuck. Please have no fear of losing the flock, not your concern. Rick and the other leaders (not you) can worry about keeping the group tight.
Aeight you are EXACTLY right, in fact I also believe you have read my mind. Now since you may have bordered on an “extreme” opinionated comment many of the sheep on here will scold you for such but no one has said it more absolutely correct. NC State plays at that level, NC State coaches at that level, NC State recruits at that level and NC State searches for coaches at that level. You want bold, here it is…the most exciting coach who recruited the most exciting players who had unbreakable pride for NC State was Chuck Amato. Now, he could of used a few good men directly under him to reign in some of the seemingly talented but dumb ass players (off sides on every play) but the guy had an identity. That guy had fire and that guy recruited Florida’s finest. DD on the sidelines has the appearance of a husband stuck in Belk’s with his wife. After this season I get it Coach D, I wouldn’t want to be there either.
This is who we are and forever will be. Coaching openings and we are chatting excitedly about, AT BEST mid major coaches, mid major assistant coaches….searching for that diamond in the rough. Let me know how it turns out.
Alias Troll….how we take the field, conduct ourselves and energy we bring is a direct result of our coaching staff. What energy the coach brings will be mirrored by his players. That being said we need to issue sleeping bags for our guys on the sidelines.

Jacoby Brissett is about 2 years past his prime, period. If either Dave old ass Huxtable or Matt Canada doesn’t get fired it’ll be a travesty. Miss St. was/is clearly better than us, hell…they’d give Clempson a run for their money the way the QB played tonight but damn, give us a chance. I get so sick, to the point of GD’ing and F’ing seeing Dave boring ass Dorean and the rest of the staff looking more concerned about whats for supper than showing or having any emotion for whats going on the field. If I’m Samuels or any other speed player, my ass is out to go to a winner, we are not. I think our kids gave everything they could and did all they could with what they were told to do. He and the rest of the staff are lame ducks. To those of you who sat in the rain to see that crap…well frankly, your fault. Should’ve seen this one coming a mile away.

Expect a down year??? Really, you mean we lose to Wake and BC??? How more down can a less than horrible (which is what we’ll be) team be? Not concerned about the QB position…while Jacoby did nothing to hurt us he sure didn’t exactly make huge plays for us this year either. Our RB’s should stil be very productive and the rest of the team should at least remain to hold it’s own. While I WILL NOT renew my season tickets out of general disgust from the L-Ville and UNC game I’m not worried about much of a drop off from a 7-5 team.
