ParticipantTwo great blocks by #8.

ParticipantHoly shizzle!!
SaccoV
ParticipantJim Brown might have been the best runner in the history of the ACC!!

ParticipantI disagree that it was a wasted timeout. Doeren felt a pants-filling as the punt team changed formations. He needs to do what he can to stop the bleeding.
SaccoV
ParticipantScott Shafer apparently likes to swear at opposing coaches. I think in a stand-off, I take our guy!
SaccoV
ParticipantThe OT on Mike Rose is holding him FROM BEHIND with BOTH HANDS!!
SaccoV
ParticipantI need to channel my inner-Rick on this one. It’s difficult when you’re playing against a team and a striped squad at the same time. 1 bogus TD, three terrible PIs, no offensive holding calls when four were blatant. Only a team with dominant talent can overcome that.
SaccoV
ParticipantI could somewhat understand interference IF the receiver managed to get at least ten yards closer to the ball. In that particular case, the receiver grabbed Burris, and pulled the defender into his own body and REMAINED 15 yards from the ball. If anything should be called there, it’s grounding.
SaccoV
ParticipantAnother PI for a first down. Syracuse has had three of those in this game, and that one could have been the most illegitimate.
SaccoV
ParticipantAwesome, BJD! How many pounds of sliced strawberries?
SaccoV
ParticipantIs anyone else getting tired of the RB by committee? Shouldn’t Shad be getting the majority of the carries?
SaccoV
ParticipantIf we’ve known anything as State football fans, it’s how officials can NOT call an even game.
SaccoV
ParticipantOne replay showed that the ball wasn’t firmly caught. Oh well.
SaccoV
ParticipantAlso, any edge rush for our guys results in a chokehold from the Syracuse lineman. It’s happened three times while I’ve been watching with no flags.
SaccoV
ParticipantThat flag was Clemson-esque.
SaccoV
ParticipantWill Baumann is this year’s MVP!!
SaccoV
ParticipantCorrection from previous post (I think it was Matt Dayes on the missed cut block on a blitzing DB!!).
SaccoV
ParticipantLike the quick passes to get some pressure off of JB early. Tony Creecy’s ‘blocking’ led to the FG.

ParticipantThe University of Naive Complicity?

ParticipantStole my thunder, GoWolves. But Dan Wetzel came to the same conclusion. Click here for the full story.
The part about the jersey is the most fitting.

ParticipantCourtesy of Mr. Tudor. Click here for the full story.
One important nugget from the ‘piece’ (of excrement?):
But based on Wednesday’s findings in the Kenneth Wainstein probe, there’s solid reason to predict there will no more dire sanctions from the NCAA.
I’m sure Tudor’s source on this part is the BOT, right?
The biggest competitive impact on athletics will be on football and basketball recruiting, a scandal aftershock that actually began in the 2012-13 school year.
Third paragraph:
But unless the NCAA can establish specific cases of athletes and/or former athletes having dodged academic ineligibility as a result of “paper class” grades, there doesn’t seem to be much more dirt to dig unless Rashad McCants or others provide the NCAA with more proof of basketball coaching involvement than Wainstein said his group could find.
Go I guess that adjectives like comprehensive and thorough don’t EXACTLY apply to this investigation?
I emailed TheACCShillJournal’s editor this very question yesterday, which he read on the air, and never officially acknowledged: Does UN* expect everyone else to believe that 3100 students enrolled in over 6000 bogus courses over 18 years boils down to two people: Crowder and Nyangoro? Insert your favorite Colonel Sherman Potter line here!!
SaccoV
ParticipantI guess there is a new psychosis up for intensive research … The Carolina Syndrome: self-delusion and megalomania switching to extreme admonition upon discover of fraud and falsehoods!!
SaccoV
ParticipantIt will ‘all’ be ‘revealed’ to the public at a 1 PM presser. I’m taking some side action on the following lines:
Number of times the phrase “had no knowledge” is uttered: over/under 7
Number of times “the Martin Investigation did it’s job” is mentioned: over/under 5
Number of times Jennifer Wiley’s picture is shown: over/under 4
Number of questions actually answered: over/under 3
Anybody else want in?
SaccoV
ParticipantAllie LaForce is good-looking, but Bronco gal gets my vote. Of course, my wife (currently pregnant with our third Wolfpacker) is loving my affection for the sideline reporter!
SaccoV
ParticipantI could not have enjoyed that halftime interview more!! Well … come to think of it …
