This thread is offensive to anyone who truly loves ACC BB and has any respect for Smith.As a NCSU alum,I have nothing but joy for the win in Chapel Hill,but you must show more class than this.

With out regards to who stayed, look at who came in to play…First class recuiter. Also look at even considered NCSU.

DY knew Gott way back before Maryland and is her hire. Also, she wasn’t having any luck attracting any coaching talent when Gott called and ask to be considered. Gott is a first class coach and recruiter and all true NCSU supporters need to understand that “you don’t know what you got til it’s gone!

Please, DY will not even think about a new BB coach! Lowe never took a team to the dance and Gott has been three times with STATE. A lot of the people on this thread need help.

Gott is our coach win or lose! No one on this site has ever hired a BB coach, but a lot would like to fire one,….makes no sense!

Well,I listened to the tape and I know what I heard after the part about the girl taking the test for the bball player but I guess I am too old to really believe that the great “flagship” is this devoid of character. If this represents a typical “communications” graduate then they all should sue.

Self imposed by Monteith? Was that the name of the Faculty chairman that got V fired? I was at State when Norm went undefeated in ’73. What a machine the team was that year!
