We were down three. If we got a stop we had a chance to win. At least that’s the theory. The problem is we couldn’t stop them and we can’t shoot threes well.
Our game threads are all about what we are doing wrong. IMO Any fool can “see” what we are doing wrong. What would reading these game threads be like if we were commenting on what we were doing right — just occasionally.
How long is going to be before we are making lists of what Keattts is doing wrong and what he should be doing. About relatively the same as football would be my guess.
Given we lost by thirty any discussion about what we are doing right would be pretty short. But there’s nothing stopping you from having that conversation.
We are obviously it manned and it’s too early to make any determinations about Keatts. But we are in for a long 3-4 years. Keats has a lot of on the job learning to do
I watched some of the game. Batts and Omer played more than Saturday. I am still not sure what happened there but that’s good.
I sound like a broken record but the defensive fundamentals are really bad. The effort is impressive but good offensive players will kill our overplaying and bad footwork.
We need better shooters. I am done with Al Freeman. He is very selfish and his ability does not justify his play.
We won the game. KK is learning on the job in the toughest conference in the country. Tough learning environment.NC State has one of the worst fan bases in the country, hands down.
Every fan base wants to win. Indiana booed Archie his first game. Your ‘worst fan base’ is every bit the melodrama as those wanting KK fired already.
I appreciate how long some of us held out before we gave up on the Pack.
Come on. Discussing the game and the issues we see are hardly ‘giving up’.

The Markel thing must have been more of a ‘distraction’ than currently meets the eye….
I am not saying it’s all the coaches fault. He is working with what he’s got. But there are some things that are concerning. I think/hope it will improve as the players do.

There is a difference in playing hard defense and playing good defense. We do the former but not the latter.
I hope we see that tighten up with more coaching. A zone will crush us all year.I think he’s gone if he does get an offer. He’s losing a ton of seniors and talent from this year setting up a letdown year next season. He’s never really struck me as “liking” NC State or the fans either.
He always seem to throw shade at State fans every chance he gets.
I have been hoping he stays but I have heard some things that make me want him out.
I hope they are wrong.Our old buddy Jamie Luckie appears to still love to call fouls on State. Some things never change.

This wasn’t is getting hot from three. This was a confident well played all around game.
They played hard and smart. They never got rattled. They never complained about calls. Very disciplined team. This is exciting.I just wish DD could build a better program than Wake.
We always talk about bad luck but things actual went our way this year. Fsu and Louisville were down. Senior team. Clemson at home and they were beatable. But what we end up with is beating one team with a winning record.
