RickKeymasterWe *can* get them in foul trouble if the game is called the same way in the 2nd half.
Who knows what will happen with that though … it’s the ACC after all.
With those two prepare yourself for a complete change in officiating after the half
RickKeymasterLuckie and Kersey?
We have no chance
RickKeymasterthis game is a bit too physical for us
New rules my ass
RickKeymasterRickKeymasterBS foul. That was clearly a steal.
Yup. This is the first tournament game I have watched because the refs are so awful I cannot stand college ball right now
RickKeymasterAnya’s strip looked clean … dammit
Refs calling tendencies
RickKeymasterI did not see that foul
RickKeymasterthat was catlike
Unfortunately so was that
RickKeymasterWe needed that
RickKeymasterThis is one ugly game
RickKeymasterKersey is one ref
RickKeymasterSo … just how hard is it… to say “We be a better TEAM next year because of this year?”
I can agree that because we played this year we will be better next year than if we had not played this year.
RickKeymasterI sure will. No more comments from me on this topic, today. Clearly, it is a polarizing topic.
Problaby the most polarizing topic since Herb even down to the “I have stats”, “I don’t care what stats say” arguments.
And, like the great Herb debates, everyone gets put into one of two extreme camps even though most are probably somewhere in the middle.RickKeymasterbut were robbed of victory
Here we go again. I will spare us all and not go there today.
How about you do what you say.
RickKeymasterWe were robbed of those victories.
If that is what you want to believe, by all means go for it.
Unless the point is to start an argument I do not understand this post. We get that you think the refs never effect a game but two intelligent people CAN have differing opinions and it is not like here is NO evidence to base this opinion on.
RickKeymasterFor the record, I do not see us being a very good team next year unless Gott has an epiphany and makes defense an integral part of his team.
RickKeymasterI realize at the end of the day you are only as good as your record
– potentially a fatal error in thinking, perhaps…
What if… someone suggested…
This year’s Team “improved more in one season than any other in recent memory… a fact to which their W/L record in no ways reflects… all of which should carry over to next season… ?
I do not see how you can predict anything in regards to next year based on this one. Last year we lost so many players it was impossible to predict this years team and next is the same problem. With Buckets gone there is no way to determine who will improve, who will score, who will be the go to guy etc.
While we have many players returning, all of them will be expected to play different roles and there is no way to tell who will step up and who will not. Not to mention all of the new players.BTW does anyone else have prolems with this site dropping letters if you type too fast?

TJ Warren has also won the coaches’ vote for ACC player of the year, NC State coach Mark Gottfried saidRickKeymasterI tried to put it on the front page but got an error
RickKeymasterRickKeymasterSounds like he won.
I hnestly thought he would get screwed ou of it.
CongratsRickKeymasterBennett and Gott are your only candidates. Some may argue Bennett has already reached stardom.
I am still not convinced Bennet can recruit to the top tier but he can sure coach. Combine Gott and Bennet and you would have a heck of a coach. Call him Gotnet.
RickKeymasterK did it guaranteed
They should just change the name from POY to the “best player on the best team award”.
RickKeymaster^Our election analysis here looks very impressive for CUZ’s POY chances…
The eight votes Paige did not get combined with the odd number he did get translates like this….
1. First the 69.. Those are virtually 100& of the “true blue voters”… who all voted for Paige plus everybody else. The “true blue voters” might be 20 – 25 in of this group of 69.
Very few of the “true blue voters” will vote for any Dookie for POY… big advantage to CUZ…
2. Split the rest of the 69 plus the 8 that did NOT vote for Paige 1st team…more or less evenly … advantage CUZ as their is no advantage to Parker… If fact … Parker could get all 8 and the outcome based on our analysis would not change.
3. Still got the odd number… cause 69 cannot be split mathematically into whole votes –50/50 — Odd Number goes to CUZ… ’cause I said so…
To make up the difference from #2 && #3 — the split would need to be at least 2/3 Parker — 1/3 CUZ or higher….
It’s really hard to see this happening…
Ironically… It’s the ‘true blue voters’ who will swing the election to CUZ…
Bill,
What does the 69 have to do with POY votes. Everyone who voted for Paige voted fro both TJ and Parker. -
