Is Gott gonna quit on us like he quit on Alabama mid way through the season? I’ve had his back up until recently. Tonight pushed it over the edge.

I’ve had his back too. Even up until yesterday. Did not expect this. Inexcusable.
We’re back to winning the tournament or hoping for a miracle on Selection Sunday. Just ONCE, I was looking forward to not having to sweat it out and seeing where we’d be seeded.
Well, I guess I got my wish. I’m not sweating it. Barring a miracle, we’re not going.
Overwhelmingly disappointing. Losing to this Clemson team on our floor is inexcusable, especially in the position we’re in.
If Gottfried talks about how proud he is of the team tonight, I may break something.
I am stunned as well by how great they can look one half and how bad they can look one half. Can’t remember anything like it on a regular basis.

Well, whatever happened at halftime salvaged a total disaster.
Long way to climb out but there is definitely a talent disparity in our favor.
This may be a statement of the obvious, but there is something critically wrong internally with this team. And I’m starting to wonder if it’s the sort of thing that could potentially embarrass us a lot more than this travesty.

We are better than this team. Just didn’t show it. Very frustrating. They are very beatable.
We are getting it together, and at the end of the year, it will be rewarding. But it sucks right now.
Gott is the best coach we’ve had since V. And anybody that doesn’t see that really is delusional.
Just sayin’.

.”The last thing I can remotely remember (or at least one that sticks out) was many years ago when Wake was pretty good and CJ Harrison hit a three to either tie or beat them, and replays showed his foot was on the line. Keith Olbermann mercilessly berated us on ESPN all night, even when they had moved on to other games (“and he hits a three–well, five points if you’re at NC State”). And that was a long time ago. Don’t remember anything going our way against unx or Duke in the last 25 years.
