Hand on the Bible: I miss Joan Rivers.
redcanineParticipantY’all still talking basketball? F that. It’s red carpet night (and no, I’m not referring to Lohan’s firecrotch)!

I think Buzz has less neck than usual tonight, if that’s possible. Can you imagine him in a turtle neck?
It’s like being choked by a really weak guy.
redcanineParticipantIf we had truly listened to Milton, we wouldn’t owe China a dime.
Keynes was brilliant too. He showed us how to recover from a great depression, but not how to avoid one.
Geithner and Bernanke are patriots.
Let’s go, Pack!
redcanineParticipantMy hero was/is Milton Friedman. I loved it when he appeared on “Donahue” and gave ‘ol Phil a lesson. He just sat there on a high chair, in the middle of the stage, all 5 foot nothing, just smiling and teaching. That man was incredible!
redcanineParticipantVirgin Polynesian Islands
redcanineParticipantI wanted to make an economics-related joke, but I’m a lefty so I don’t really understand how money works.
Give this man a hand. The Invisible Hand.
redcanineParticipantCat needs a tighter hair bow.
redcanineParticipantIn your face! -Harrell
redcanineParticipantI meant Rozier. My bad. I really gotta go back and watch!
redcanineParticipantCat dominated the Louisville backcourt. I’m talking about YOU, Chris Jones! Lol.
We did sorta abandon the high post most (or all) of the game. Not only did Cat have more space to maneuver, but so did Trevor, Ralston, Twins, etc. And when our bigs did get the ball down low, they weren’t consistently harassed by a mess of trees.
I need to go back and watch to figure out how we managed to shut down Harrell. Was it Lennard??
redcanineParticipantI’m very delighted with the win. Hell, I’m on cloud 9. Way to go, Pack! Great job, Coach Gott!
Just don’t schedule anyone outside the top 10 from now on! That’s when we fail.
Wofford @ Reynolds??? That fart lingers still. But I’m no Debbie Downer. Time to celebrate.
I swear, making free throws down the stretch is a powerful aphrodisiac.
redcanineParticipantWow! I didn’t see this one coming.
Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m in the mood for love.
redcanineParticipantBack to celibacy. Smh.
redcanineParticipantYou wanna Bogart? Fall back. I go hard!
redcanineParticipant“Nolte is not a guy known for his ability to drive to the basket”. He beat Ralston.
redcanineParticipantShhuck it, Trebek!
redcanineParticipantRalston needs some Foldgers in his cup.
redcanineParticipantDewey Crowe!!!!
redcanineParticipantThat’sh not what your mother shaid lasht night, Trebek.
redcanineParticipantYeah, that segment was definitely weird.
Ralston & Cat were “keepin it reel” w/ Ms Taylor. The highlight in discussion was Trevor’s game winner at GT. Everyone was congratulatory of celebrated the buzzer beater, but in good nature, ribbed Trevor for missing a wide open Barber in the corner. At this point, it’s all good.
But one thing lead to another and the conversation became an airing of dirty laundry, so to speak. “Lacey is always on my case”, “Lacey thinks he’s a coach”, “Lacey and Ralston argue a lot in their dorms”, “Lacey has bad hair”. IMO,it reflects poorly, but I’m not holding Turner or Barber accountable. I’m sure it’s all in brotherly love, but half of that interview should have been edited.
Whoever produced that segment probably dropped the ball, or at least double dribbled. It left me scratching my head.
Edit* I didn’t see pakis last post. Good description.
redcanineParticipantI don’t expect any epiphanies or changes in offensive or defensive strategy. At this point, might as well stick with your guns. We’ll continue to play 4 post guys for a combined 80 minutes, 20 points & 15 boards, and 12 fouls. Defensively, we’ll play prevent, only to foul with under 5 seconds left on the shot clock and put em on the line for an and-1, or completely whiff on the rebound attempt.
I expect our weak side off the ball defense to continue to be very vulnerable to ball reversals.
I expect Cat to continue his aggressive play. This might be the best thing we have going for us. The more he can push it coast to coast, the less we’ll have to set up our offense. As long as he keeps finishing lay ups from the left side with his left hand (way to go, Cat!), he’ll keep scoring points.
redcanineParticipantI can accept that, Bill. Thanks.
redcanineParticipantOur guys were on great high school teams and played for excellent coaches. Trevor won a state champilnship, and Lennard and the Martins played for legendary coach Steve Smith at Oak Hill. It’s not like they are from some obscure place like Clayton, NC. Did our guys catch amnesia somewhere along the way? Or am I giving them undue credit for knowing how to play defense before they got here?
Obviously, there’s no synergy on this team. We are so uncoordinated. Perhaps they are, or at least trying, to do what they’re told. Either way, it’s very disappointing because I assumed this young team was full of winners, and that our coaches had enough to work with.
