Until Blackmon comes to Raleigh for an OV, I wouldn’t consider us to be in the sweepstakes. I read that our staff chased Abu around all summer long, and obviously the effort paid off. I can’t say that we’ve recruited Blackmon or Clark with the same prowess.
I believe the open recruiting period began yesterday, iirc. Having this ’14 solidified with Abu gives us an early step on the ’15 trail. I’m looking forward to continued success.
Too bad for Gary, but he’ll be alright. I assume that this ’14 class is complete, and if so, it’s one less thing for the staff to focus on.
Since someone mentioned it, I like how that Verbal Commits site measures talent. They use a composite of 3 major recruiting sites (ESPN, Rivals, Scout) and rates players by the average of the three. From that, there is a team average.

What’s up with the oversized logos that are too big for the helmet? And why does everything have such a gray/smokey hue to it? A couple of them look okay, but that’s probably luck.
The guy won by 20 points in his first game as a starter. I’d feel pretty happy about that if I were the QB.
What if he doesn’t light WFU up this weekend? So what, as long as he does enough for us to win.
