Rob Lowe may not have been emphasized in the scouting report. Without that surprise, we’re up double digits. We know what we gotta do. It’ll be fine.
Florida’s gameplan is to put their opponents in the hospital. It’ll probably get them a national championship.
STL split the series with VCU, the 2nd best in A10. State split with Syracuse, #1 in the country most of the year.
I’m not worried about what STL can do, may try to do, etc… We’ve done what we do against better squads than the Billikens. They’re sitting there after finishing the season 1-4, knowing that State is going to do their thing, because they couldn’t stop worse teams than us down the stretch.
State is going to come out of the gate like John Force.
^Well, I heard him a couple of weeks ago say that he really disliked (almost said hated) LAST year’s NC State team… and admitted that State fans gave him hell for it… but this year’s squad is tougher and plays better basketball.
Either way, I thought those comments about the Holes were funny. Taking a shot at Dean!!
Daniel Dakich, filling in on Mike & Mike, just called *NC “historically soft”. “I did a Carolina game last week, and I look around the rafters and see the jerseys of all these great players and think ‘man, they WERE soft’.” And this, “Bobby Knight was winning national championships with guys like ME(!). What did Dean Smith do? But… their campus is really pretty.”
