I’m with LRM. Additionally, if we won enough, we would not be confused with Stanford.
Tuffy is a great logo (70’s or modern one). I prefer the block ‘S’ and feel tuffy should be used as a secondary logo (except bball….for some reason I like tuffy as the primary for bball).
I recently saw a picture of my great uncle next to his car with a block ‘S’ (with the ‘NC’ inside) painted on his car door. That picture was from the mid ’20s. The Block ‘S’ has too much history with NCSU for me to worry about what other schools use a block S.
I voted ‘no’ in the poll on whether he will come back. However, that in no way reflects poorly on TJ Warren. I certainly don’t know him (most of us don’t), but he is one of my favorite all time players. It’s not just due to his basketball skills……it’s the way he carried himself on the court. Seems to be a very level headed guy. Good luck TJ Warren in whatever you decide. We support you 100%!
I agree with Statefans…..this reeks of UNC trolling.
IF Russell Wilson cannot be claimed as one of ours, how does UNC explain 41-10, 28-27 and 29-24. Sheesh! Seems like he was present in an NCSU uniform those days!
Like I read someone post, UNC spells RW’s name like this: RusseLLL.
for good measure, maybe they should spell it like this: RusseLLL WiLLLson.
Just curious…..when the future comes (eg 2025) and we do decide to build an on campus facility, would there be any possibility of building a new arena at the site of the current reynolds or would the foot print be too small? There is the parking lot next to Reynolds, but not sure if the building would also have encroach the Reynolds deck.
I’d assume the space is too small and we’d have to look at Centennial, but it would be a nice way of honoring Reynolds.
